The GZ block isn't up to 4 yet (or even 2). And I doubt it will be, judging by how glacially slow the Century evolves. Also, you forgot it's DOHC, and 'A' doesn't mean anything.
Still, a 1GZ-FTZE would be one hell of an amazing engine.

Nice. I was wondering what had happened to Speed magazine, I used to get every issue but I haven't seen one in ages. Has it packed up now?

It'd be a pity because that was one of the few aussie car mags worth picking up, as well as HPI.
