in my book, it's hideous... it's built on the Golf/Jetta/Beetle platform, i don't see why people would pay 40 000$ for that...

I was more referring to the exterior styling, not the base platform.

The TT is cool, but it's tooooo rounded for my taste, and i'd never pay 40000 for a TT when i could get a brand new RSX and some parts for it

Id rather have an Audi TT. There is nothing like German engineering to have under you.
I do admit the engineering on the 350z is the best its ever been.
Reading the nice little touches added to the car makes it a world class car for sure.
