Weird JDM'ed Nine sixty eight

PSed S2K (Ok, everyone stop doing HDR... NOW!)

Those wheels looked shopped. And not just because of HDR, but god people need to learn the difference between Cartoony HDR and real HDR.

the whole car is a big chop. Those exhaust do not belong there, and the entire bodykit and rear diffuser is scratch-made in photoshop.

RS's themselves aren't that hard to find not that expensive, it's the custom barrels and bolts that add up to the bill...

They're both expensive.
Not in the scheme of things. Look at this, clean, original RSs with tires for $900. No idea what fitment a Cooper requires though, and these are x7.5 with a +14 offset. But still, $900 is cheap. For example, a friend of mine just sold his perfect set of Mugen MF8s for $1900. Just the wheels!

^That's extremly cool and fast, but I've found something that's also pretty impressive, though not as fast.

This Prius has been tuned by Top Secret and has been fitted with Nitrous Oxide! Questionable? yes. Awesome? VERY!

Didn't know about the Nitrous, But I've known for awhile that Top Secret's been offering parts for it and the new Insight. (researching cars for a personal GT wishlist has it's surprises.)

Personally, it's not awesome until the Hybrid Synergy drive is entirely replaced by a 3S-GTE with Antilag kit, and it's driven past a snooty Seattle coffee house, revving and firing flames just before screeching off into the distance leaving everyone smelling like exhaust.

They best of fixed the accelerator problem with that package or someone is in for some serious 🤬

That big gaping hole on the left side kind of defeats the purpose of having a diffuser, but whatever... At least use the mesh that's provided with the Spoon bumper, like he did on the right.

Expensive to me, how about that?

Continuously reminding us of how badly you want a $700 set of wheels (You can pick them up for this much used. Less even.) is just continuously reminding us of how cheap you are.

People say they want stuff all the time, it doesn't mean they are going to get it. And if you think I'm cheap then so be it, I enjoy doing stuff to my car but I don't want to dump all my money into it.

If that makes me a hard parker, poseur, or whatever other stupid terms you guys come up with, I think I can live with people on the internet not liking my car or my way of life.

Couldn't agree more. People like Perfect Balance piss me off beyond belief. $700 might seem cheap to you, PB, but the reality is that for some people acquiring $700 and use it for your car isn't easy at all. People have priorities, y'know. I'm not saying this is your situation, Joey D.

But, I don't want to get into this. 'Tis not my issue.

Yeah but lets say someone wants something, and it's not hard to find, or expensive, and they had the money for it, yet repeatedly told you "man I wish I could get that" when you knew damn well that they could, they simply chose not to?

Yeah, that. I'm not calling you anything, just quit bitching about "not being able to afford" something, when in reality it's simply you not wanting to spend a little bit of money on something you apparently "want really bad."

EDIT: Yay, I've earned a hater!

EDIT #2:

The issue isn't whether or not $700 "seems cheap to me" or not. I've been saving for a $1000 set of coilovers since last August, and I still don't have enough money for them. I don't make a lot of money at all, but the fact of the matter still remains that $700 is cheap for a set of wheels, because we all know how expensive wheels can get. Your financial situation isn't what dictates cheap or expensive, the market does. Whether or not someone has that much money, or is willing to pay that much money is an entirely different question.

A $10 wristwatch is a cheap wristwatch even if I have absolutely no money at all. A $5,000 BMW M3 is a cheap BMW M3, even for a homeless person. Get what I'm saying?

It takes me time for parts for my car that I'm building and it's been 10 years and 15,000 later, and I'm still not done with it.
But it does take time to get the parts and I've never used credit cards to make purchases.
I've always saved up like PB and once the money is there, usually buy what I'm wanting with no compromises.

Most don't have the patience to sit on the money and save for what they really want. I used to be like that but have changed over the last few years.

It also did a 7.74 in the quarter on a stock 6 speed manual:dopey:

Wow, that fast huh? I thought their record was still at 7.81. I think their auto Supra does a 7.59 at the moment. Insane numbers these guys do with a 3 liter engine!

This guy took a base Cooper and fixed it up with JCW goodies, I love it.

And while I love the JCW AeroII kit it's way too expensive. It's $1,700 when you buy the car from the factory so I have to imagine it's upwards of $2,500 when you buy it, paint it and have it installed afterwards.
