Looks like the paint/tint was 'shopped.

I wonder if I could track down that car... probably around the Seattle area...

It looks good. The E30 is kind of timeless I think, though it is crazy how much the M3 flares change the feel of the car (yes, I know this doesn't have flairs, just saying it)

Spring perch still hasn't come in, so no coilovers on yet, but I got tired of looking at the Enkeis just sitting there in my living room.

Toyota's own press fleet AE86 is a thing of beauty. Got up close with it at the weekend. Not totally standard, it's been owned by a few people before Toyota and then they bought it back. Has a cold air feed, some uprated anti-roll bars, a nice shiny 4-1 exhaust manifold. Exterior has been taken back to standard though and the interior is as mint as they get.

Readers of EVO might recognise it as the car that Chris Harris was charged with driving to Belgium and to take it sideways around every roundabout on the way there.

Tell me about it. I'm trying to find an excuse to borrow it off Toyota now!

You'll see in the last pic it was being warmed up. Nice 2k rpm idle! And yet, couldn't hear it at all, as there was a Ferrari 355 being warmed up just out of frame... never realised they were so loud at idle completely stock...

My car is louder than a Ferrari at idle.

Also Glubags, that tire fitment looks good on those wheels. I think it'll sit pretty nice when you get it hunkered down.

Probably uses more fuel too  I asked the 355's owner if it'd had any work done, since I've been around Ferraris before and was still surprised how loud it was. He said it was all perfectly standard. Might have been due to the cold and it idling fairly high, I guess. Certainly not an unpleasant sound though...

Thanks man. The stretch turned out to be just as mild as I'd hoped. They're 195/50 S.drives on 15x8s. Offset is +25 all around. It's just Tire Rack's "aggressive" Miata wheel fitment with MR2 hub rings. 👍

With a touch of negative camber up front and a super ghetto phonebook-assisted fender roll, I'll be ready to go. Not even going to bother with a heat gun because the car already has paint damage alllllllllllllllll over it.

It looks more 4x4 than mine with the Koseis, but I have 5% more sidewall than you.

HFS: My MR2 will do a 2500rpm idle for a while when its below 40F. Makes driving a little weird.

Hope this is not a repost, and I don't really like what they did with the exhausts, and it's a bit extreme...
