Are those 15k hids? Or maybe higher???

Especially now it has a roof. And POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. 340 to 400 hp in a 700kg car. I can totally see myself blasting along on country roads, or in Amsterdam.

^ Damn straight! We have to represent the Dutch... I agree though.. With roof its just sublime! :)

Flyin' Miata's Westfield shop car has ~260hp and it weighs around 500kg.

Yeah, but there are 2 things wrong with that car.

1. It isn't as stunning looking as the Donkervoort D8 GTO.

2. It isn't Dutch.

Coulda sworn Lambo had a trademark on the 5-hole wheel design. Guess not.

They're a variation of Porsche's early 80's 'phone dial' design. As seen on 911s/924's/944's/928's of the time.

Reminds me a bit of an old touring car.

One of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, but props for trying.

Porsche wheels ;)

Those are Autostrada Monza, aftermarket wheels.

I think Autostrada had Porsche in mind with those wheels. I fist thought Lambo but you can find them in 5x130. They had F40 in mind while making the Modena wheel design. And again Lamborghini used the phone dial design earlier in 1976 with the Silhouette.

What's the deal with importing those? I assume you could just register it as a regular EK Civic?

Every 96-00 USDM civic is an EJ, except for the 99-00 Si which is an EM1. EK is the designation for the 96-00 SiR and Type R Civic Hatchbacks in Japan

Cool story bro.

I'm sure he knew that, it's just easier to refer to them as EKs, because they pretty much everyone knows exactly what you're talking about.
