What's with that "let's put a V8 in anything that moves" trend nowadays? I'm not talkinug about the MG, but from which part of the hell people, who put V8s into cars like S2000 come from?

Why not? There are plenty of cars that remain stock.

And the sound of a rumbling V8 sounds good in anything that looks somewhat sporty.

I don't really have a problem with the engine and swap. It's just that its done so much that it doesn't catch my attention anymore. I myself am not one that's super into extremely powerful cars but it's cool.

Helvetica doesn't catch your attention either. That's why it's amazing - it's so perfect that it can be used everywhere, to the point where nobody even realizes that it's probably the most important and influential development of its genre in modern times.

really? i honestly cant see how lol

The RTA sticker on the front door doesn't have the same shine/reflections as the car itself, the fuel filler on the side window looks pasted on, the fence in the background dissapears from the rear window, and that's a Taitec NSX diffuser at the back.

Meanwhile in Montreal, Canada...

That same Canadian finished his LS1 swap over a year ago:

He posted on the V8S2000.com boards that he was working on a V10 swap shortly thereafter; those pictures are the first I've seen of it. I'm not sure if he re-registered on the v8s2k boards after they went down a while back, but either way, that's an awesome project. Probably not ideal weight distribution, but who wouldn't want a Viper V10 in anything feasible?

In fact, I want a Viper V10 in my work van. Now.

Edit: also, an obligatory GO MCLAREN

Having seen his LS1 S2k in the flesh a few times last summer, I can confirm it's a great package, very well done, and it goes like hell, too.

Heard through the grapevine the V10 one was going to be a drift car, no clue how well that'll work out, though.

They should start putting F20C's into Vipers and corvettes. The game should work both ways.

Quoted for the truth. But IMHO, Mazda's Wankel motor would be salt to the wounds.. :sly: I can so see it.. 20B in a Viper, 13B's in 'vettes and 'maros..

I clicked on R/T Tuning's page and they didn't have anything. I wasn't facebook friends with the guy so just didn't bother to look through his page. Either way that car looks amazing. I'm sure they'll take some better photos than what's in his facebook right now.
