Well, they're not exactly cheap to make. Wheels and suspension would also add up.

According to the website, the kit is $20000. Seems expensive, but there is a lot to consider.
 
$20k for just the fenders. Then you have to paint it, order wheels, tires, suspension to make it all work. Nakai-san installs every kit himself, so I'm sure there is labor/travel costs as well.

Widebody conversion on my Miata wasn't cheap either, but not 60k haha.

Yup! Here's an out of focus picture I took of him from the debut of the first LA built RWB. He's a pretty interesting guy to watch while he works. He'll smoke a cig and sit next to the car just looking at it. Then he'll get up and move to another corner and just look at it. Makes me wonder what's flowing through his brain at that moment (probably wings and fenders).

Its by Synergy. I think they're in New Zealand. The sound that thing makes is beyond glorious. Just under 12k rpms from a 2.4 V8.
