If you're into DC2 Integras, check out this build. The detail and engineering going it is just insane. Volk is bringing out 17" ZE40s and is even using this car to debut them!

Yeah, as long as that front bumper is not visible... it looks great!

More people should mold their riveted kits:

Seriously, I wish more people did. Looks 100 times better in my opinion. Normally it would look ugly to me but with the kit molded it looks a lot cleaner.

I still like it (obviously). Its more of a function thing to me since the car sees track time. If something happens to the overfender, which it has, I can just unbolt the old one and replace it. Re-fiberglassing a molded in fender would take way more time.

A show car would need to be molded in though.

Just me who still likes that 'rough' style to it?

Anyone?

No?

I prefer the bolt/rivet on arches in general (especially on retro cars). Although the moulded in look can also work well. My main gripe with wide arches is that too many people go waaaaay over the top with them.

Was the Historic Tourers race a good one? Was it wet?
If you check the Kinja link in my sig (shameless plug), I have a round up of Monday's action. Race 1 was wet, race 2 was dry but with spots of drizzle appearing. By far and away the best races of the day.

What is it? I've never seen a pic of it, let alone two in the same shot.

Old Škoda?
Its a Tatra T613. Air-cooled 3.5ltr V8. Has a bonnet big enough to breakdance on.
👍

That particular example is the coupe by Vignale.

I'm half Czech on my mom's side, so Tatra (named for the mountain range that forms a border between Slovakia and Poland) has always held a special place in my heart. It's a little odd that the decklid should be so large, too, when the engine isn't oriented quite the same way as earlier models using basically the same unit but with different cooling.

The image above illustrates the axle crossover as being housed within (yeah, odd) the center [of 5] crankshaft main. Earlier models placed the engine entirely aft of the third member, much like Volkswagens and Porsches.
