I'll let this thread go back to that then 👍
And with that, we're back to STANCEDSTANCEDSTANCED cars again.

I didn't really realize it until just now, but somewhere along the line I got tired of lowered stock cars. It kinda just hit me that I don't even visit those websites anymore.. Hmm.

In that case, please could you post links to some of the blogs you frequent, particularly the old motorsport ones? You and RocZX are pretty much the only people who post anything interesting in this thread.

That, and it really makes me just want to blast through photos posted by speed junkie, as its just a bunch of race cars, etc typically. Kind of removes the whole "hey, check out this one sweet car I found" and makes it just feel like an automotive blog (think tumblr).

And I can just go on tumblr and see that all day every day.

Are will still complaining about the the stuff posted on this thread? We went over that a few times and almost everyone said it was OK to post race car thing.
And when has this ever been- "hey, check out this one sweet car I found". Most of this thread has been "pic dump" then that I found this one nice car thing which happens once in a while.
Lastly, where do you have the right to tell anyone where they can and can't get the pics that they post here?

I really hope that you don't, cause I'm not go to stop post just cause one person doesn't like what is being posted.

My only suggestion would be to stop quadruple posting within minutes of one another and just edit the post that was made prior. Keeps things tidier.

Also this really isn't an import thread anymore, we probably should just have a thread called "Cool Automotive Pictures". That way it covers everything.

RocZX..great pics again mate..love the old F1 cars..that team eating on the car for lunch is great!

Gilles Villeneuve

I read about this bloke in a Top gear mag..he was a truly amazing race car driver..crazy in fact!

Hey guys Just wondering if you like this?

I am in two minds about it..it looks unique and cool yes..but somehow it does not look as pretty as an F40 or ENZO..:guilty:

Indeed they are Lotus.

Here in PR iot's pretty much a requirement to own a GTR to live here (I kid, I kid) but really, there's a lot of them.:

Wow that's a few, I don't really like the current R35 skylines..with all the wizbang technology..it's very fast and safe..but somehow I think it lacks the involvement and excitement of the original:indiff:

^ there's really a lot of people that are not Very well off and even though the 2008 recession didn't hit as hard initially it's still pretty bad and we are still not getting much better economically. Clearly not stopping the super rich though as I believe there's like 5-6 458s here by now which is a lot considering we're smaller than Connecticut and taxes on those are 40%.

I have to say it's definitely an exciting car, just like any other fast car is, but it really is missing the madness and rawness modified MKIV supras and R32s have. I'm also not very keen on the looks and how it's pretty big on the outside but not so inside.

When I was on vacation in PR this summer I definitely saw some cool stuff. I remember driving through the rain forest (name escapes me) and thinking, "wow, this would make a great touge road!" Crazy, frenzied, not exactly well kept, and in the middle of nowhere.

Probably "El Yunque". Yeah that road is pretty nice but not Very sale to go fast there. There are quite a few fun mountain roads here that would make very nice rally stages, the road density here is very high so even though it's a small island there are many roads and you can find a house anywhere there is a road.

You ever been to Corozal in Puerto Rico? My parents grew up there and we go there every time we take a trip to PR. My dad always tells me how he used to beat the winding mountain roads there with his first gen corolla. Even now, when we rent a corolla down there, he gets all nostalgic and takes it way faster than safe haha. Every time I'm there I always think how cool it'd be to see some touge passes.

Yeah my half-cousin's grandparents live there and I've been there a few times, definitely some nice winding roads, pretty narrow too.
