we're waiting for the PS4
fishtailrook1 (?)
i couldn't find a thread for this, so I thought I'd remind people of this.

Brits aren't the only ones that have Vauxes in GT2...the designers left the vauxhall versions of Astra/corsa/Vectra/Tigra/Calibra in the NTSC version. I have test run and even tuned the Vauxes (race paint and all, btw) in my copy. i consider the Vaux versions better than the Opel versions cooler paint chips, wheels, and race paint. they even seem to perfoprm better.

You don't have to worry about this. Admins hardly ever come thru here and when they do they're not looking for dupe threads.

Anyways, about the Vauxhall / Opels...I didn't know that. Interesanté.

Parnelli: Suchayo's list above is for the British released cars. any brit PAL player can confirm wether or not that only britan gets Vauxes.

if you have the Insertion substitute code, that replaces the Altezza in the toyo dealership with the above codes, you can buy the car new from the dealership, and FINALLY pick your own colour for your favorite

btw...the Vaux versions can be tuned by changing the locater number in the memory that tells the game which tune shop your allowed to go to.

To change from Vauxhall to Opel or vice versa in the PAL version simply change language from English to German, French etc.
Also lets you do two extra manufacturer races and get more than 100% complete.

This works for PAL, but for NTSC, you can only get the cars through the "Toyota New Car Lot" codes. You can't tune the cars in any dealership, though. Any performance ad-ons have to added with codes.

pupik: since I did this with a gameshark PRO...i can play with the memory when I want. for example, i was given the location for the HP adjustment ratio. I have a 288 HP Suby 360...which can actually use it's stock tranny to it's full extent.

it also finally has enough torque to compete in a race.

the trick with swapping to another language is cool
