From your posts, I wonder if you over drive a little bit? Maybe you unsettle the car a little too much on corner entry and drift wide?
It's not easy to change driving style, but if you watch the replays, the top guys are very controlled.

You set good times, but maybe you could do even better if you practice keeping the car planted

:D

Top drivers drive on their steering wheel, I'd help but on this track where yo have long turns, and there's precission important.

Me personally, find it very difficult to drive the car stable, b'koz, every lap is a different approach on the apexes, and so the braking points as well and the car is not friendly when you over brake a bit or just s bit go off your line which is very stupid, it's turns out that you've to drive "this way"or.....you're screwed up!

Probably I can do better, not to much tho b'koz it hard drive constantly but I don't like this TT very much specialy the Damn last right hander!

I use literally any thing I can. Edge of curbs, fences, walls, I used the edge of the grandstand on the nismo GTR TT a while back.

The bushes are good for turn one on this one. Even counting in seconds after passing a marker further back works, or a certain speed on your speedo.

You only need 2 'hard' brake markers for Suzuka... one for the hairpin and one for the final chicane. These are the only corners that require hard, precise braking, everything else is a longer, softer, more feel based entry.

You can use the lighter or darker lines/marks you see across the track for markers here. 👍

Comedic value.

Did you ate an clown?! :D

Here you can't use a damn nothing. When you go a bit off the track you'll get pulled immediately (?!?), so ur lap is done!

Wrong topic or!?

 err... yes, was reading the Suzi TT thread and got confused... an age thing :D

But principle is true for Willow as well... in fact there are no precise hard brakes at Willows... just soft long trail brakes. So braking slightly early and then using slightly less brakes for longer gives a very similar result speed wise :)

Edit...

and longer, softer braking unsettles the car less. If you're always trying to hammer the brakes over the shortest braking zones you're risking unsettling the balance of the car.

First left hander, need full brake for s second let's say till you shift to 3rd gear, underbraking, the car just slides, even in the long right hander, when you shift down to 4th and sometimes the car just slides forward even tho I'm in full right steering! There's no forgiving here, you've to drive right way or you can forget the lap!

Btw what are your times here?

I'm guessing you're struggling because you're trying to go from full brakes to turning too quickly.

The front tyres only have so much grip, and you need to learn to reduce the brake pressure proportional to the amount of turning or you'll just get the entry understeer you're complaining about... more turning = less braking, and vice versa.

So brake a bit earlier and softer, and turn in a bit sooner.

It's not rocket science... If you exceed the limit of the tyres grip, the car will slide.

Last few laps be4 I make my finaly time .15.4 I do see that here is most important less braking-more stearing, compensate for braking, makes sense, agree, but still every lap is a different one, braking point, turns etc, so, is difficult to make one solid lap. Ok, on a steering wheel is bit easier specialy thought the long right hander and the final section, on ds3 is bit different and difficult.

Oh man, where is the Kers button ? I 'm going crazy. I have a Porsche Carrera Wheel. help me please :odd:
In the main settings for controllers and wheels, find your wheel and assign a button to "nitrous" - this button will be the one you use for the KERS boost in this car. The boost is tiny, it's not like using nitrous in cars with fitted nitrous.

If he is using the square button for braking, like me, this won't be easy. ;)

The car is hard to drive using buttons... what a shock

I could complain endlessly about TT's with stock cars - as PD have to hobble them with stupid amounts of rear toe and camber to make the game playable for DS3 users... but I don't ;)

I've been trying to keep it in the top 20, I think I'll end up comfortably there in the end. Happy with my highest ever overall position of 6th I nabbed on the first day, as well as spending a day or two as 3rd fastest European, and fastest Brit. :D

.14.9 on ds3, lost in the middle of the track .250!!

Call me idiot but the minimap is not correct with out the real circuit here specialy the last sector with the long right hander plus the last right hander. Minimap shows that the second to last"knick"is a smooth one but actually is a hard right hander and the last right knick is actually almost 90 degree turn, minimap show smooth as well turn!

I have a question for this one. I want to use KERS bound nitro to one of my wheels buttons (g27) and it doesnt work.
I thought i would enable KERS. But it didnt.

I never said that the car is hard to drive, because i like the rotation at corner entry.

I just mentioned that softer braking is not possible with the square button. ;)

My post wasn't aimed at you :)

Plus you seem to have no problems at all completing with all but the super aliens using the buttons
