Oh and it have metallic layers created by Matthew Nethercote (my thanks to him)

They just highlighted the yellow color so nicely I had to use it ;)

I will now go send you a PM with location to download it.

I have two questions. First being Team Speak, can Someone coach me through it as I have not a clue. Even looking at the DL page I am still in the dark.
Second does Erick do the paints? For us, because even though I have been tinkering with GIMP I am lost as well (this will take more time to accomplish) so I'm sure you know what I'm dealing with.
Oh, a third one as well. Who will be setting practice sessions and when?
That's about it for now. Sure I will have more later.
Thanks for answers guys, Vince

I'm fairly lost on teamspeak but I found out if I was 32 bit or 64 and used the first one to download that matched. After you download it and installs is actually easy and straight forward, the hardest part I had was key setup.

I do paints for those who can't figure out gimp or photoshop, but we also share the logos if you want to create your own.
We talked about having one design for every car witch would be awesome, but finding a design everyone would be happy with could take some time. And I don't see a sim racing team that "super" important.

When I create paint for someone I will take one of the default layouts made available by iRacing (the same layout you can pick in the paint section of their web page) and add logos to it. The owner decide layout and colors and I make it happen.

I can also make more personal layouts, but its just too time consuming if everyone want a paint job and I have to do them all at once, so I see what I can make possible over time.

Practice sessions, so far we use the official rooms to practice in. And talk with each other on TeamSpeak. If we are going to participate in a bigger event we will make a practice room available to members if we need it.

About teamspeak.
http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads

You find your operating system and press download, on the "client"
Then you have to accept the License Agreement and then you have the choice to tell them where you heard about TeamSPeak.. then it will start download.
When it finish downloading you can install it.

When installed you can connect to our TeamSpeak server witch I will give you the IP and PW to. But then I take it as you want to join then VINCE__.. I couldn't, find a post saying that directly ;)

Great job Erik, looks great, thanks:)

Thanks for the tips Erik. Yes, I've been pondering the thought of getting back into road again. Thinking what better way then to do it with some guys I could get help from at the same time.
So I guess I should start off with getting the TS program installed and join some sessions that some of y'all open up. Correct?

Hello ErikAndre, i am interested in this mate i just need to renew my subscription and getting into iRacing again after i didnt play for a month :)

A Guide To What You All Need To Know Before Joining.

Below are some things you need to know before you join.

-First I will start by saying that this is a new team to iRacing, and isn't run by iRacing Veterans or Aliens. We are all quite new to iRacing therefor this team is designed to help eachother.

-Next, we do plan to host sessions for practicing etc, however these will not be hosted all day everyday so please don't expect that there will be a session everyday. We will notify members of the team before we host a session to let them know of the dates and time etc.

-We have a dedicated TeamSpeak Server, therefor we require you to be on whenever possible. Our TeamSpeak Server is there for several reasons, so if you do decide to join please don't ignore it.
We let members know about Team Information, Team Updates and it is also is useful if members are participating in the same session.

Vince__ and Niss, if you are planning on joining I will need your full iRacing name so I can add your details to the website.

Not doing too bad in the Vette.
I have had 3 races so far, came 1st, 2nd(started from pit) and 1st.
I love its handling characteristics.

Heres an FW31 paint I made for the team for 2013. I'll just need to change the red colour to the drivers personal team colour and put their name and flag on so if anyone in the team would like it just let me know which is your personal team colour and I'll get it to you asap. :)
This isn't my colour by the way, this is just to show what the paint looks like, my team colour is orange. ;)

Cars look great 👍

How do you guys get the line edges to be so clean? The curved blue / and orange lines behind the drivers head in thospics of the FW-31 are what I'm referring to. Mine have jagged edges and I can't seem to fix then.
I'm currently painting a McLaren and even the roof has jagged edges, but the one above is perfectly clean from what I can see. I'm using Pshop CS5.

Hey guys. At work here and trying to figure out a race plan for S1 2013. My company computers filter out all iRacing information so I am scrolling on my phone and its a bit of a bitch.
I am wanting to compete fully in the Indy oval open series and the GT Challenge road. Can someone tell me if time wise back to back can I do this?
I'm not quite sure of the GMT deal and the every 4 hours with the Indy races.
Hope this makes sense to y'all.
Thanks, Vince

I think you could do this. I think your timezone is GMT -5 so.... I think this is what I think you mean.....

I use the pen tool to make the curved lines, then when I make the selection I make sure Anti-aliased is checked and feather radius is 0. I don't know if that makes much difference in the sim though. Also you can try disabling DXT in the graphics settings in the sim which should work but that will use more GPU memory.
Hope that helped. :)

I'll definitely give it a try 👍 Thanks.
I use the pen tool as well, and everything looks great in Photoshop, but I'll have to check the rest. Apparently I should be looking at a test session replay for the best results as well, not a 30 car race replay. Were your shots from a test session?
