interest check for a new series

BTCC Style 2.0 liter and under challenge!

this is an interest check thread, i will create an inscription one if there's enough interest.

okay, now on with the real things!

this challenge is restricted to 2.0 liters (2000cc) of displacement, or less, cars.

Rules:

-No 4wd (means WRX, Evos and WRC cars are excluded)
-No Race Cars
-No Tuner Cars
-Fwd or Rwd, or Mid engined cars are permitted
-NA or Turbo is permitted
-5 lap races
-8 rounds
-Points for the 6 firsts (or 12, depending on how big it will get)
-Cars are mandated to about 325 hp
-NO HYBRIDS

-LSD
-Super Soft Tires
-Weight Reduction Stage 3

Events:

Round 1: Tokyo R246

Round 2: Grand Valley Speedway

Round 3: Apricot Hill

Round 4: Special Stage R5

Round 5: Laguna Seca

Round 6: Deep Forest

Round 7: Midfield Raceway

Round 8: Trial Mountain

5 laps in Arcade Time Trial mode, the one with the fastest cumulative time will win each round.

this series will be based on your honesty!

no wall banging, no grass cutting, no cheating!

after a few thoughts, i've decided to remove the HP limiting and do something different...

this means that the ZZ-II and the Elise 190, as well as the Del Sol (or Del Slo...) can be available

however, no cars are allowed to go past 325 or 330 hp... this will make things more fair for the smaller cars

i'll wait a bit more to see how many people will participate, but i can give you some details regarding the races themselves

the races are 5 laps each, and we're taking the total time of the 5 laps, then i'll sort out the times, and declare who won each round.

all you have to do is select the Arcade Mode, and the track we're driving on, accomplish the 5 laps, note the total time (and the 5 lap times) and PM them to me.

Gil: yes, both Elises are eligible...

like i said, the cars can't be over 325-330 hp, this will make things a bit more competitive... at least i hope so!

Does the Free run section record cumulative time?
I know it keeps track of single laps. But I don't recall cumulative times.
Please don't go taxing my math skilz.

About the Mods to the car, do I have to only use the mods that you listed, or do I have to use those mods (mandatory) and others to get my hp up to the limit?

Also how do I submit a time?
And do we have to submit our cars specs?
What does Tuner Car mean? *edit does that mean cars that are tuned by mugen, spoon, mines and the like?*
Im sure that free run only records your fastest lap not all of them even when you save the replay?

Oh yeah the VX220 is 2200cc isnt that 2.2 litre
Also could you add the Nissan Skyline GTS-t TypeM that is 2 litre and is FR?
Oh oh and what about the RX-8?

the mods you can do are those that are listed, and any others you can get to achieve the said 325 hp... you need approximately 325hp, some cars don't even achieve this.

times submissions will be done by PMing me, but we'll get to this with the inscriptions

Tuner cars are the likes of Spoon, Mugen, Mine's, Nismo and TRD...

i'm coming with a solution for lap times... didn't check correctly the first time out, i have to rethink a way to calculate 5 laps without compiling them manually...

the VX220 is indeed 2200cc, i'm going to replace it with the R32 Skyline GTS-M (totally forgot it was in the game... ) and both the FC and FD RX7s, as well as the RX8, will be accepted...

i'm gonna resume everything in the inscription thread on Saturday.

Oh another suggestion how about the Toyota Altezza IS200 (or whatever) and the new new design MR2 (or MRS or whatever its called)
I can grab screens from GT3 does that help to submit times?
