We should have a shakedown of all the possible cars that can compete similarly with the F430 and jot down the specs. Does anyone know the average lap time for the F430 by chance?

I think the best way is to test on race (after some free run laps and trying different pp and tire combo), like I did with the Viper.
That way, you have a direct comparison between the cars and their strong points and weaknesses, so you can set them to be as similar as the F430 as possible. I don't think it would be good idea to have cars racing against each other where there would be great differences on top speed and cornering speed.

The Viper with R2's and 680pp basically matches the F430 in all aspects, and I'm sure the Tuscan can too, with the right tires. It's already pretty damn close in acceleration and top speed, though R1's and 671pp make it lose ground on corners.
 
I can lap 2:03 with the F430, at least 2 seconds faster than the TVR on R3's

NSX on R1s, default settings then minimum weight and power up until 680pp seemed to be pretty even with Maffski's TVR to me

Just followed Geez and Volcano's Ferraris round for a few laps at close quarters too - definitely well matched 👍 Friskier than the Ferrari though!
 
I think we could work out a decent combo for the TVR and Viper and then let people choose what they want to race so theres no advantage or disadvantage, ille do more testing and as Beerz has said the viper he has been testing is a good enough match for the Ferrari

28% at the moment, its pretty slow since my sister is also using the internet at the same time. :irked: But it is a big video file, usually I convert them to a smaller video size but since Youtube re-compresses the video file online it deteriorates the quality even further. So I decided to upload as it is to make it look pretty and easy to view online. Looks like no more online racing for the day but I be doing some research on other potential racers. Keep up the great work guys, maybe I should alter the front page with the requirements. ;)

Wish we had the lobby update, I keep trying to join you guys, but get 3 or 4 failed to connects for every race that I actually manage to join.

Best I've got was a 2'00.941 on one of the races today, but there were a few racers that fell behind quite a bit (probably waiting for someone), so it's possible that at least one of them broke the 2min barrier.

I have manage a 1.59.xx. Sounds unlikely from me, but it's true. Shows how stupid the RBE is.

I had fallen pff the back of the race in dead last and had a clear track in front of me, over a minute behind the leader.

Did some changes to the front page changing the regulations for this race making it more open. Even the name of the event has now changed to "GTP Suzuka Circuit < (less than) 700 pp Expert Event".

The max a TVR Tuscan will go to is 691PP, it will be distroyed by a 700PP F430:grumpy:

Thanks, you too. 👍 It was a bit lonely on the start line! :lol: Sorry I couldn't keep up very well - I was on R1s with 680pp but I don't think it's quite as fast as the Ferrari probably due to the gear ratios. Will go back to the NSX I think.

its so fun it always gets too late in the night. you all probably know all too well how it is.. id like to thank everyone for some great racing tonight. mr_geez, mjh and myself had some very enjoyable races at the end. mr_volcano is running strong as always. i wasnt focused enough all the time, but we had some good fighting in quite a few laps. also thanks to people who waited for me, and if i pushed anyone i sertainly didnt mean to.

hey guys, had some nice races last night till my provider decided to go down (AGAIN!), just woke up, good thing I got internet again. Ill be joining u guys tonight late. 22.30-23.00~ CeT (berlin, paris, amsterdam) till really late, or should i say early ;)
