Just so there is no confusion, the Viper I'm talking about, which was the one I tested with the R2 tires and 680pp, is the SRT10, not the GTS.

OK please accept my apologies for the confusion for saying its the GTS. Beerz was the one who fine tuned the Viper so if he says its the SRT10 then it is the SRT10. I will update the front page to avoid further confusion. Any confirmation on the M3 settings?

Think I have one setup now. (Check pervious page). Will confirm when I have my next race with more GTP member, but I think it will be around as quick as the Tuscan maybe faster?

Doing a good job lads - this event will be even better once there's a comprehensive list of evenly matched cars. Might be useful in future events too. Then there's the ideal scenario of getting a full grid of GTPers so there'd be no need to wait for 30 seconds.

On this evidence do you reckon PD would employ us to sort out any dodgy pp calculations and pay us to race all day? 💡

PSTC555: The settings for the M3 have now been done. It can keep up with the f430 so Id say its worth putting it on the list. The settings are on page 19.

i will try it with the M3 and your setup @02...the R3 was really like driving a train:)

Okay. Tell me what you think of it. R3 are far to sticky for most sports / supercars. R2 you can still get the back end out.... just.

I wouldn't mind that... :sly:

But you're right; PD should take a long hard look at this growing list and see that they totally screwed up with the pp system, as some cars would never be competitive on a pre-defined pp race, much less with a specific tire restriction.

I've been trying out the DB9, it's in its final testing stages and I'll post the final setup later. 👍

About the START,driving with clutch there is no reverse so the fastest way to get in line is U turn, but it's hard to get your plase if it was midle of the group. So cant everybody just line up behind the first one,no need for reversing. It's not the starting line, but would be easyer for clutch users?

Yeah totally agree about the PP thing. And I wouldnt mind a job at PD (if your listening PD :sly: ) to sort out the online races lol.

And Beerz your DB9 seem like it was almost there?

ow.... and by the way.... change the colour of it ahaha :D

There is a reverse mate. I guess your a G25 user yeah? Push down then into 6th.

yes, it´s ok, was a great fight with edebert,
the M3 is a lttle bit slower in acceleration, but minimum same cornerspeed like the f430....

Yeah, almost there. But it's proving harder than I thought to make it even with the F430.
My best bet so far is a certain combo, BUT with the final gear tweaked to give it better acceleration, because even with the weight on minimum it's still quite heavy, and during a race you rarely go beyond 4th gear (they're pretty long), which added to the weight makes it an easy prey on straights for the Tuscan, NSX or the F430 (at least these).

Tried it with harder tires thus adding more power, but it doesn't work better, because I can't get out of corners fast enough to maximise the extra HP I have, and it struggles to keep up with an F430 on the 1st section and 130R.
If final gear tweaking is allowed, I'll have the final verdict soon. Otherwise I'm going to try yet another thing on the DB9 that I just thought of.

And I didn't quite got the last comment until I read this...
yes, please. it hurts in my eyes:) but looks very nice too...:)
Ah, someone with good taste. :sly:👍

Really? That bright, huh? Cool.

PS: Thanks a lot to mr_geez for helping me out with my testing of the DB9.

Owh I didnt know people were changing the gears aswell.. I might revisit the M3 then and have abit more of a tweat if we are allowed?

Can we change all the settings or is it just the tyres, power and weight?
