Had some great races at the end of the evening. Been driving a lot with Patchysan, MobySPD and the 2 Norwegians đź‘Ť

Also had two oldskool battles with Zabeu. Bumper to bumper for the main part of the two races. Wicked

Special mention to JvM for not entering the track when traffic is coming. That happens way too little lately. Great sportmanship

Was great indeed, if I could keep up. Had to drive to the best that I could with the Evo X.
You're driving the white Viper ?

Have to work only about that reentering the track after a punt or mistake.
Were a few times where I messed up completely last night. Sorry for that

just winding down with a couple beers after work. i usually quit if im not able to drive properly, but sometimes its just so fun that you think "just one more"

but i dont think i caused too much trouble for anyone. last races i was having fun in the back of the field with flash48 and southslider. dont think i was in any race with you though, protox, didnt see your name anyways..

and i assume im not the only one whos ever had one too many races (after having a beer too much or just being too tired) just because its such great fun. only had 3 beers, but was a bit tired from work... lol

have to go to bed now. later my friends!đź‘Ť

oh, and one question: if a car is sliding obviously out of control but is crossing the track at a 90 degree angle, and you run into him, im thinking he's the one making contact.
but how do the rest of you see these situations. do you stop and wait anyways?

Here is what I do,

If one is out of control because of his own driving error, I won't wait. That happens to me also. But if one stops and it was my own fault, at the end I will stop before the finish line and let him pass ( if he didn't overtake me already ).
Or if the battle was great with that driver, I will wait also.

Strange - I was about to post the same kind of question myself.

Usually I stop when this happens. If it is a driver who a nummer of times have shown his thru self - being a punter - I dont. Usually i dont care about my final position, so it dont matter to me if im 12th because of a stop. If in a competition, like the garage showdown, I wont stop. A mistake is a mistake and then i take my opurtunety to make a pass.

Just have to make a BIG  to all the great drivers out there. I wouldnt have played the GT5p if it wasent for you. You all make my day a lot more fun:)

I saw no thread concerning the HSR event so I am posting this little warning here to give a heads up to keep us in the clear in advance :sly:

My mate has turned up at the house to try out GT5P and after a few laps in free run at HSR he is going to go online for his first time at HSR pro using Kels GTP_ account! He is simply just trying to get a feel .. so steer a wide berth if you are on the track  If he has contact with anyone then it is unintentional and just a new guy finding his bearings ;)

Apologies in advance for any carnage hahaha
Cheers
Ron.

Wow, the last 2 races simply had the best grids I have ever been priveleged to be a part of. How's this for a lineup, GTP_stealthwinnr, GTRP_RudiRaser, FAK_EV1L, GTP_PrudentBear, GTP_southslider, GTP_marchbrown, GTP_fair_play_plz, GTP_JvM, GTP_PatchySan, my sorry self and a GT-R driver from Finland I didn't recognise.

Southslider, you're a fast, clean and supremely respectful driver, a total pleasure đź‘Ť

It's a crying shame the last race ended in a disconnect. Absolutely perfect manners and line discipline in turns 1 to 4, great stuff.

All the best
Maz (Synwraith)
Thanks for the compliment mate:tup:right back at ya!.Oh yeah that was a great race!
I try to be as clean as possible when racing,This sometimes costs me a couple of places for being to nice out on the track. But hey thats racing.

Dont worry about it,everybody has to learn sometime!
If you cant respect a slower driver, you're in the wrong place and need to go play need for speed or something.:ill:

To GTP_stealthwinner,Marchbrown,Flash48 thanks for waiting indeed.:tup:That was great!
Sorry for the stupid actions out on track,it seems my g25 is broken again.:grumpy:Stupid excuse i know but still. Will use my old DFPagain.:nervous:
See you guys and girls tonight.

I'm just experimenting with power/weight settings right now, so i'll be fairly easy to pass i should think in my black Mines, i'll be transferring to a white when i'm on my normal set up :)

Definitely one of the best races I've been in. All fast, clean drivers on the grid and the racing going on all around me for the full 5 laps was a pleasure to watch. The race that got disconnected was shaping up the same way too. Had some brilliant battles with Zabeu before that - it was almost like the 600pp NSX days!

Will be back on again later tonight for some more. đź‘Ť

Disconnect, disconnect, failed to connect, disconnect, has been the story of my last 4 races (on and off schedule). What's going on? Is it anything to do with the new GTTV video?

I'm currently trying out my midnight blue GT '06, sorry if i cause any trouble.

I did have the same problem as you Dragonistic thats before I discovered that my wife was pulling out the power of my router. lol. We're friends now but man...
Sorry about the love tap Sjaak. Didnt seam to bother you to much.. i hope.

Haha, darnit Stealthwinner - some idiot lost it in front of me before casio and you beat me by like 0.01. :)

Sorry for the little bump on the line.

I was pipped by 0.03 after coming from dead last place after T1, incredible race, watching 11 cars all sweep through the esses was amazing. I was actually ahead out of casio (passed him on braking into casio) but the Mines had a good run on exit and beat me... just :)

What is with all the d/c's, lag and.....AND the other day i was having a go when Rudi Raisser appeared with no bloody wheels on his car and he was still fast

Cant say I enjoy to get the door slamed in my face like in the last race. Racers shifting racelines, like if they where skiing slalom, i really dont like to much

Had to ditch that last race, the legendary phone rang excuse  Race was pointless for me anyway i couldn't get anywhere because Knilch held doctorbens slipstream so passing him (i was 3rd) became impossible and pointless.

I'm in 02.

Missed last time making dinner.

So struggling with that online GTP registry thing. I totally suck in anything apart from GTR LOL!

02 froze for me. Doh!

Thanks to all for another nice evening.:) A special thank to Stealthwinnr and Fair_Play for some really close races changing the lead a 1000 times each lap. :tup:This is what its all about for me. Finally we know each other so well we could drive side by side the hole lap through.lol.

Sorry for the little bump on the line.

hehe. that was verrrry close indeed. i wouldnt have catched you if he hadnt lost it though. but it was a nailbiter to see who had the most pull toward the finish line. and dont worry about the bump. race incidents do happen. didnt bother me much. i think we all have to accept a few incidents when we think the best thing in online racing is to have really close battles.

fairplay, marchbrown. we had an epic race there. great fun.

srt_speedy, sorry for the bumps you got from me, but you were fast, and i was trying to pass you. braked a bit to late two times i think. but it was great fun.
konvex also had some good battles with. he was right on my tail over many laps. it was playing one false move. alot of fun.
southslider, flash48. always a pleasure.

up in about 5.5 hours to go to work. catch you guys tomorrow.
these last few nights have been soooo much fun with alot of great drivers on the 02, 17 etc. races. thanks people.đź‘Ť

That was wild man,it was the closest race in my life!!!

Ive gone to racing the F40 to make this event fun again for me. Hope Im not making to many problems racing it?!

Very true I thought you would probably be able to come back past me but didn't think it would be so tight.

Disconnected yet again last race, was shaping up good for me, i was 3rd behind 2 unknown GTLMs with a big gap to the rest of the chasing pack. Then it disconnected... again.

Still the racings great tonight, you're missing out if you're not in on it :)

Yes mate, this was the greatest race yet, nearly every corner an overtaking maneuver but still doing laptimes under 2 minutes and catching up to the leaders, and you finished 2nd with a 10:07... i think:tup:đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Was a pleasure and a honour to been part of it:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

What a race!

Sorry about the approach to 130R on about lap 1 or 2. One of the non GTP racers were a bit over-defensive on the straight and ran me onto the grass...

Apart from that, was very good fun!

Drama_kid getting held up everywhere hahaha!! Wasn't your race buddy!

Sorry if I hold anyone up. I move out the way if your alot faster than me. Reason for me running the R8 is because Im bored of the events now and bringing some fun back for me!
