I personally would find it very difficult to slow down at the line if I've been poked and shunted up the backside for the best part of 15mins (which is usually every race) and would want to finish as high as possible to make the whole thing worthwhile.

Plus, it's a race! :dopey:

I think Timppaq had a coming together with geez. He waited for geez, and I'd usually wait for geez to go back past timppaq and continue the chase but there was a non-GTP player behind me so I kept on going.

Tried to let you both back at the line but it didn't work out so well lol

yeah it was cool.
but this incident was caused by myself, I caught Timppaq before Degner (he must have been bored building a gap of over a second every lap on me,so he decided to check stock market, sport results or tomorrows weather,so he was cruising) and I was so surprised by the fact that he is in front of me that I said to myself: "where is my camera?! I have to have me catching Timppaq on tape!" <-- not a good idea during racing....so I lost the car little bit in corner, good race overall.. ;)

EDIT: and I have no clue how did it finished with me winning that race -> "Twilight Zone" Case...

I must have really upset you Timo, every time I log in you log out!

Good racing from GTP_Fantamospapa(?), GTP_SauberF1, GTP_maX (we tried right?) and Motorious as always!

I have a feeling "no_one_interestin" has a recogniseable alternate ID on these boards ;)

Knilch or Max took me out on Lap3 there, nice one guys.

Max over-defending on Lap4 when I re-caught him into T1...Dude, if someone has pulled alongside you into T1, there's no way you can leave 1/3 of a cars width on the inside for them.

A repeat of this move by me on T1 on Lap5 and this time I kept my car on the circuit (not all 4 wheels on the inside of the grass in avoidance) and you turned into me. Then as I was side by side, you turned in again.
 
how long has it been now since barbarians started playing video games? i mean do they even have electricity?

It's also hard to determine when dealing with different cars, different tunes, tyres, HP, weight, downforce, RBE and grid positions.

Everyone watch out for Nissman_TeamNur - if he's behind you, he WILL punt you off. About 5 races against him now and in every single one, he's shunted me off at least once. Latest race, I was in 5th (if I remember correctly) and he used me as a brake - weee, there I flew into the gravel trap... :grumpy:

his car is suffering from alot of lag from what I can see.
 
Does anyone else get put off by their girlfriends walking across their bed whilst you're sitting on it trying to concentrate, then they turn off the lights, then turn the sidelight on and wriggle into bed?

And then do they get into a mood when you stop racing because they've caused you to spin?...

She goes on holiday for 4 weeks on Wednesday.

Can't bloody wait.....

I agree with you, had a race earlier tonight with him, we had some contact and he waited for me (my fault i think tho), and he has just let me have back my position when i spun at the final corner.

I think i know who it is.
 
Quite nice races again.. didn't have very much batteling near me in last couple of races, everyone was always a little too far ahead or behind, but it's like that sometimes. :)

There wasn't neither so many gtp'ers, only maybe 4-5. Few more would be better ;)

And may I ask why there was one GTP'er with GTLM in xx.17 race?

I absolutely adore that car. As Top Gear classified it, it is absolutely sub-zero cool. Here's to hoping that the DBS is added or included in the full GT5 release! Are you going to be doing more DB9 racing?

This exact thing happened to me before with a certain GTP driver, not Max though. I got the draft going into T1 and was on the inside prior to entry. We were about even as we hit the brakes, but since I was carrying more speed initially I came out a half car ahead before we hit the kink going into T1. The driver could clearly see I was there to his right and had ample time to adjust and predict for the obvious pass I was attempting. I was as far over as possible on the apex, already on the rumple strip and this driver simply turns into my drivers door pushing my right tires into the grass which caused him to lose control at the same time. According to him I was being far too aggressive. I think it's a simple case of drivers being far too defensive of their position and race line, and also not knowing when to give up their position when they are at a obvious disadavatage going into a corner, etc. By his rules, passing him in any situation other than cleany on a straight away puts him at too much risk, as he simply does not like to adjust, from my viewpoint and experiences with him. We just had another incident where I was again blamed for being too aggressive/unfair. This time going into Casio on the last lap where I outbraked him big time on the outside, gave him plenty of room to take the inside line on entry, but at a slower/adjusted rate. He simply drove through my ghost at the exit of Casio as I was ahead of him on the inside, realized he still likely couldn't pull off the V, so he just parked it and tried to blame me for him braking too early, while also leaving the door wide open prior to entry at casio. I also had the courtesy to not attempt passing him going into T1 when I had the chance, as I figured the same crap would happen. Enough of that... thought I'd share a similar situation.

P.S. I'll give your GT-R set up a try tonight...I had a busy weekend :dunce: 👍

Nice last lap battle there Mr. Geez. It's too bad we only had one lap left in the race. That was a white knuckler to the final corner!
