So, a friend and I had a quick 3 lap race around Nurb GP/F today, our lap times were in the 1:58s. He was using the R8LMS, and I was in the Vette ZR1. I think I'm going to allow engine tuning on cars, maybe only certain ones in order for them to have more torque. I'll go over it a little more and post it up. Until then people are welcome to try their hand with cars with and without engine tuning at the same track at the specs in the OP. Give me your times.

I make my car choice soon. Hopefully u have all the specs dialed in soon. :)

I'm not completely sure, but when I was racing against jake at Nurb GP/F I was using the Vette ZR1, I had every upgrade besides the supercharger. My fast lap was 1:58.8xx, and that was about even with the R8LMS there he was using. I don't know if he had upgrades to the engine on that car though. So if he did that may have made his car a lot faster. I was able to keep close, but the R8 has better turn in, so it excels at that track. Basically if the Vette can keep up there I think I'm going to allow engine tuning on the cars. Maybe not stage 3 on all of them, but I'll make it more clear when I test some more.

Xero is on eastern time and his psn is also xero0083

Tested the ford at nurb gpf was gettin high 59s mostly but I did manage a 59.0 in there.

Im going to test all the tracks you listed.

Good testing tonight. High or mid 1:58s around GP/F is what we should shoot for. I think with the specs we tested today the cars were all pretty equal, at least at the shorter Nurburgring layout.

We'll have to figure that out. Depends on what the majority wants. So have at it. Which day is good for everyone?

On the car front, from testing tonight we have the Vette ZR1 RM, the R35TC, the Viper GTS-R and Ford GT with engine stage 3 upgrades with their stock turbos. So upgrade the engine but do not add any turbos or superchargers.

cant do wednesdays and thursdays, and the ITCC races are a bit early for me so if we could make them 10 hours earlier then that or 3 hours later that would be cool by me

I'm thinking Fridays, but ALMS runs then, and I'm involved with that series. Possibly Saturday early afternoon. But lots of series are already during that time. This is why I'm asking people to give me a good time for them and we can work around a day and time that fits everyone that wants to participate.

mondays is best lol

If it were Mondays, it would be AFTER 90s LM is done, which won't end for at least 2-3 months. I really want to get this series started before then.

I added a poll so you can vote, it's multiple choice as well, so we can choose the day most people vote for.

I voted tues wed sat sun. I do 90s lemans on mondays and alms on fridays also I dont play GT5 much if at all on thursdays.

I'm cool with any of those weekdays, which is what I voted for. Saturdays would be ok, but there's already a few series that I'm in on that day.

The Viper needs a power drop to 435hp. It already has a huge handling advantage along with other high downforce cars. The Z is definitely slow on the straights, so it should stay 440hp but it can also get stage 3 engine tuning.

Nurb GP/D:

Viper 1.28.4
Ford GT 1.28.2
RX-8 LM 1.28.8

Those are my times for gpd Ill be going to rome reverse next.

I was up pretty good from 1:28.4 (set with the Z) through the first sector with the RX8. But lost it in S2 and S3. I was up 2 tenths, so it has good speed, but I was less than a tenth up in S2, and fell back 3 tenths in S3.

Times for Spa was low 2:18's and high 2:17s for the fastest cars. I set a 2:18.2xx with the Vette, but it wasn't broken in. So I know lower time like mid 2:17s are possible for it. The R8LMS was decent around turns, but its top speed was low, so stage 3 engine could be used for it as well. I could only get to low 2:19's and high 2:18's with it.

I think I could have at least matched my time in the Viper with the RX-8, the 28.8 I did in it was on the 3rd lap so the wear on the tires had already begun to set in. I think Tyson set a better time than me in the RX-8, dont remember exactly what his time was though.
