Unrealanthony was testing last night with me. He's decent with his wheel. So he was getting fast times with the Viper @Spa. mid 2:17's like my times.

Did more testing at spa in my lounge after you closed the room.
Ford GT - 1.19.7
Viper GTS-R - 1.20.3
RX-8 LM - 1.20.3
Again I feel like the RX-8 could be faster. I was consistently in the 20s infact I was even in the green every sector up untill the last one. I feel like this car can do 19s just needs a little tweaking. Where as in the Viper I was struggling for every 20 I put down until I realized I needed to tighten up my rear toe.

I think I can get 19's at least in every car. Some people may run faster, but I don't feel they'll be able to keep that pace for as long. I think I can keep 2:19's at Spa, without draft, for at least 5 or 6 laps, and the drop off with mediums only comes around lap 8 or 9 until it gets a couple seconds slower. Racing hards will last even longer, over 10 laps on Spa, but will probably be a couple seconds slower.

Got a 2:19.126 in the Citreon on my first timed lap practicing with Sinladar at Spa. This big wide car can get into the 2:18's. Had the RX-8 in the low 2:19's. Sinladar put the Ford GT Black Car into, if I remember right, the 2:18.7's or 5's. He's trying to figure out how. lol

I'm hoping everyone will choose a different car! If not I think a max of 2 users per car should be implemented. I love variety in racing, so that would help people choose a car that's unique. I think we'll have 'tryouts' with the faster guys using 'slower' cars to even the field out. I'll detail about it later on.

We can all choose different cars, I was just wondering if we could set up different teams. No manufacture teams, just individual teams.
We need to give out prizes to the drivers. I'll help with prizes from the game for top 3 finishers in each race. Like tickets & cars.

IRL, GT-Open has two classes, but they're both about equal. One class is SuperGT and the other is GTS. SuperGT has GTE type cars, like the Vantage GT2, 911 RSR etc. Then GTS class has GT3 type cars but they're just as fast if not faster. It's a cool series.

We'll be trying a practice race tuesday evening! Everyone run the car they want to use. We'll have two rounds, so you can use different cars to see which one you'd like to try out. We'll be doing a few practice races before we start preseason and regular season. So these are just for fun and for people to find out which car they would like to use during the season. I'll put up details on the first page tomorrow.

Where are we doing this, at Spa? We have been practicing and testing them there. I have two set up for Spa.
Don't want one day to practice for another track. Unless we have to, then I'll cram to get the 2 I want to drive set up.

We can hold the race around 7-8pm eastern, so it'll be good for those on the west coast as well. My kid has a dr.'s appointment tomorrow, but it'll be early, so I'm sure I'll have time to get the race going. If not I'll be sure to post up that I can't hold it.

Thanks for all the guys that participated. We even had some no namers show up and do a couple races. Hopefully we can schedule another race maybe this week and have more people actually partake so we can test which cars are appealing to who.
