Very close Race 1, I was pushed to the win by Crazy, luck for the full 60 laps.

Epic stuff guys, enjoyed it a lot. Very close racing and a few scrapes, but brilliant stuff. Championship standings and photo's to come!

Laguna is looking a bit better, but I need to work on throttle control for now. Thankfully it's relatively easy compared to more powerful cars.

My HP dropped to 428 after the Daytona round...

Yeah. Me, Sumo, Knelly were together, came up on MadMax, 3 laps down. I went around outside of Max who blocked Knelly, then I switched lanes, Knelly slingshot around us, I got a push from Sumo, side by side to the line, Then Sumo appears and carves through the middle and turns me into Knelly. EPIC 👍

I was with the lead pack for the first few laps, but driftking tried making up a few positions obviously unaware that this was slower and more dangerous then just hanging with the bump drafters and he hit someone and it split the pack.

The gap went out to 5 or so seconds until RFLX got the chance to bump-draft me. When he was pushing, we were gaining a second a lap, when Boyce and DK decided to use road course tactics we were losing just as much. They were weaving to get the draft and overtaking and DK hit me in the banking and made me slide. After a DK move and a few wall shunts, we lost 10 seconds. Brilliant. Eventually DK spun out and RFLX pushed for a while, at one stage we were 30 seconds down, and eventually we were just 8 down at the end.

I was considering not stopping at one point but the tyres weren't agreeing with me unfortunetley.

Anyways, on to Laguna where I was quite a lot faster then the leaders earlier. Made up a second in the final two turns. But Sumo is very fast on a road course and MadMax is WRS Division 2. I'm hoping for 3rd and will probably be fighting for it with RFLX, as he's usually faster or equal to me on a road course.

Oh, and Laguna is a lucky track for me. First TOCA win.:sly:

Nice pics, mine to come up.

Gotta admit they are some good looking cars. Race 1 was lucky for me, and generally it was evenly matched, that big pack in race 2 was frightening me briefly....

Gah. I 🤬 up big time. This (as well as the high risk of being stuck in the same lobby as some racist rednecks) is why I don't like racing on ovals, you could be Sebastian Vettel, but thanks to slipstreaming even Liuzzi could win. PD need to implement a choice between "Realistic" slipstreaming and "Strong" slipstreaming. I apologise for any accidents I caused, someone lagged into me in Race 2 and that took me out. At least Laguna Seca will put less emphasis on luck (no offence to today's winners)...

Furi, don't really want to make an issue of it but watched the sprint from your view. Lap 9, You were on bottom line and got a tow off crazy, slipped behind sumo in the middle carrying on the toe. I was right there against the wall in your view and you tried to carry the draft through a gap that was not there. That was your time to let off the gas, falling behind sumo keeping us three wide.

My opinion? You only won the race because you tried for a gap that was not there, causing the wreck allowing you to win the race.

Leave the rest to you and anyone who saved and cares to watch the replay.

DK, you do realize there's a skill towards it right? Did you see RFLX pushing the back of my car on the straights? You don't need to overtake ever chance you get either, it's all about teamwork until the last corner.

^ The last time I raced on an oval was in the A-Spec NASCAR series.

Yeah well that is just plain 🤬. No skill involved with that and that truly is just going around in circles for a while, a baby could win that, hated any oval race in A-Spec, apart from the first time I did the Supercar Festival, cause I had a C63 AMG which has quite a lot less HP.

The major problem with ovals is that once you fall out of anyone's draft, you're out of the race, period. Extremely stupid and unfair.

I thought I could make the gap and cut up to make it just 3 wide. And to be quite frank seeing 3 other lanes around you whilst trying stay off the Superglue barriers was a challenge. So yeah I'm sorry about that, I went for a gap and it closed up a little quickly, I admit that.

My Camaro was like the John Player Lotus with the Black and Gold.:)

Yeah a colourful field. RLFX's Black #3 Camaro in race 1, wow he had two massive slides and nearly wiped out the field. Great car control.

Well I've always liked dark blue colors, there's some sort of aura around that...

Oh and Akmuq, don't predict the Laguna results yet since there's lots of practice time for it, and I just might surprise you guys there :)
