Been playing since GT2. Also have kind of dabbled in Need for Speed. I would consider myself just a casual gamer. Mostly Mortal Kombat, GTA and some Call of Duty.

I play controller. Id like to have a wheel but I don't have the cash and with my GF and I having three dogs and two cats - good luck

  • How did you find GTPlanet? Looking for online racing groups
  • Where are you from? Galveston Texas
  • When did you start playing racing games? I have tried many racing games over the years but none have gotten me hooked. After watching the Gran Turismo movie i was inspired to give the game a try, even with only using my Controller i became quickly addicted to this game like no other. I am not sure exactly what they did but WOW I just can say enough about the game. I race carts and motocross currently in real life, this is ALMOST as fun.
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? Currently Play on a Logitech G923 Wheel & Pedals with GT Racing Seat. I would consider both entry level, however they took the game to the complete next level.
  • What other games do you enjoy? iRacing World of Outlaws, F1 2024.
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? Finding a competitive group/league to take my racing experience to the next level and meet some good people to share the fun with.

  • How did you find GTPlanet? Longtime lurker, from back in the pre-GT5 (?) release days?
  • Where are you from? Australia
  • When did you start playing racing games? Around 1989 with Enduro Racer on the Sega Master System :D
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? Logitech G920
  • What other games do you enjoy? Forza Motorsport & Horizon series, Assetto Corsa Competizione, the codies F1 series, Assassins Creed (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and now Mirage), Fallout 3&4, Skyrim, the Farcry series...

How did you find GTPlanet? I knew if it being here from years ago. Finally decided to join.

Where are you from? I am from New Zealand

When did you start playing racing games? Probably in the very early 90s on the Sega master system. Grand Prix was the first game I played. Man, has game tech come a long way since then.

Do you play with a steering wheel? Mainly a controller gamer, but sometimes I break out the wheel. I have a basic Thrustmaster

What other games do you enjoy? I love TrackMania. Play it about as much as I play GT7. Also jam Diablo 3 and 4 a bit, and I love indie games of any genre.

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? Chatting with other racers about their gaming etc.

Hi I'm Johnny I'm from the USA. I saw that GTPlanet posted about the weekly races in GT7. I'm a big Grand Turismo fan since 1997 and if the game doesn't have a car that I can drive in it I'm not a fan of it. Car's have kinda been it for me. I'm looking to meet some great people and have a great time.

Hi I've found my way to the side through the new Update 1.49 (E36 coming!!).

Not new to the series, staying loyal to my beloved Controller (Im to poor for a sim rig) since first joining the series as a child in 2002.

I love forums and I don't know why Im here so late. Seems to be a great community and also a lot of the fast grid drivers are here, good to see!

Im 30, from Germany NRW. C Driver Rating, S for Safety. But I could be further up the grid I guess.. :D Most favourite car in GT7: Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera. Love the sound and driving capability of it.
Favourite Tracks: Nordschleife, Barcelona, Lago Maggiore, Watkins Glen, Tsukuba, Trial Mountain and Tokyo Route R246 (best track to miss in the late GT games).

Looking forward to improve my driving skills and get more into exchange with the community. Currently missing 27% of the cars. So also have to improve there.

See ya all and have a great day/week fellas <3

Hello!
I found this site when I searched Gran Turismo 7 forum.
I am from the United States
I started playing racing games from a very young age.
I have a cheap Logitech wheel but only used it a few times. I'd probably use it more if I had a proper setup.
I enjoy lots of other games, too many to say here lol.
Mostly I just wanted to post a car I really want to see in GT7 and see how many other people would like to see it too. (Btw it's the Pontiac Solstice with the option to do an LS swap.)

-I found the site & thread while google searching problems I've run into with GT7, as there seems to be no way to get into contact with Polyphony to deal with issues.
-I'm from the west coast of Canada
-I started playing racing games on my PS2 console when I bought my first version of GT3 Vspec...and I've been hooked ever since. That would have been back in about 1998.
-I've wanted to upgrade to a wheel and peddals for about a year now, but I've been unable to pull the trigger so far...still need to convince the wife ;). But as my racing has been improving, and I've been competing online for the past year, I realise that I would be able to take my racing abilities to the nxt level if I did so...as at the moment I'm only using the controller and automatic transmission in all my races :(
-I also enjoy playing RDR1 & RDR2, as well as FarCry3 and FarCry5 & of course GTA5. Those are pretty much my go to games for the past year.
-I hope to make some contacts with some more serious sim-racers that I can learn more from, and make the most of with the gt7 game :)

My dad introduced me to this website when he saw my Forza Horizon 4 photos

I'm from the UK

I don't remember when I started playing racing games, but when I was really young i would often play GT Cube on the gamecube as well as play Gran Turismo 5. These were my first introductions to the racing genre and cars as a whole.

I play both steering wheel (a cheap [but heavy] Fanatec Speedster 2) and keyboard, as well as a gamecube and PS4 controller.

I play a lot of other games such as Titanfall 2, Fortnite, Need for speed, WRC 9, War thunder and ofc Forza Horizon 4. I've dabbled in Gran Turismo a fair bit, playing a fair bit of GT5, GT Sport and a little bit of GT 7. I also play a ton of indie games such as Deltarune, Enter the Gungeon and Dead Cells

Sharing FH4 photos and my love for cars and gaming as a whole :)
