Hi Everyone,
Pretty new Aussie GT7 player here. Enjoying the game but was struggling a little. Found a couple of Facebook groups and saw a few posts mentioning GTPlanet, thought I'd check it out. Some great helpful info on this site and looking forward to the news, help and general chatter. 🍻

Hi everyone!
I’m from Sweden and have been playing GT6 and GT7 for some time.
I love GT7 and been playing it since it was released.
6 months ago i bought the G29, and a sturdy Vevor (copy) I attached the wheels and pedals.
That changed everything for me, the beginning I couldn’t complete a lap lol, but when I got more used to it a whole new world of racing began and still i get goosebumps racing with wheels and pedals. My son gave me the shifter later on, and the shifter made the “sim-feeling” a big boost.
I drive actually every day, still i am a D driver, i find it very difficult to race online.
My favorite cars in my garage that i use most of time are the following;
Ferrari F430, Nissan GTR-17, Nissan GT500, Ferrari Enzo, McLaren F1, McLaren F1 GT-R, Ferrari F40, Mazda RX-7, Volvo V40, That newer Senna-like-F1, Porsche..different variants mostly for Nordschleife.

I wish there were Koenigsegg in the game, I find that a little strange.

I searched for a definitive guide to GT7 and i found this place 😃.
I am looking for help and also if I can give a tip to someone. I have severe problems to complete the Gr.3 and 4 races. I have struggled for months with different cars, the game is 96% complete, those races mentioned I have no idea how to win, some of them i have managed to get first or second place, the others like 10th or last place 😂.
Why can i never win with a 458 Italia Gr.3 for example, it seems other cars have more power, and impossible to win the Daytona Gr.3 with McLaren -95…
Well i guess I have a lot to do to improve my driving skills.
Welcome to GTplanet Piltenlol, I am a huge fan of gt7 and GT Sport. Didn't play gt6 a lot though. The only thing I enjoyed there was the license tests and coffee breaks, but most of the races were boring there.

  • How did you find GTPlanet?
  • Where are you from?
  • When did you start playing racing games?
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
  • What other games do you enjoy?
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?

Like to start with saying hello to all members and allowing me to join.

From the UK

1997 GT1

Jordan, After watching your review of the Thrustmaster T598 I upgraded from the original T-GT, as play in the belts and cogs were starting to set in.

Other games , I have some but don't play them.

Looking forward to contributing to the forum, meeting others in chat, hopefully joining others in online racing.

I'm retired , way past the retirement age of 65 by almost a decade but still enjoy the racing and company.

GRAD.

Hi there, im just new to GT7. Is there access to tunes and setups? Thanks. Gary

Hello, found this site finding settings for me first real sim gear, the fanatec dd+ f1 bundle to use it with ps5 and perhaps pc. Mostly played f1, rally and project cars. Also had a lot of fun with midnight club from rockstar, miss that game. Now it's time for gt7 and it's awesome. Learning all the tracks and getting gold is sometimes frustrating but very rewarding when you actually start to race on these tracks. Still not sure how to use all the buttons on my wheel because gt7 recognizes it as the extreme wheel but the force is incredible. My muscles feel it too.
