Incident review #2 for Race 1 is concluded and the findings are posted. Standings will be updated tonight.

I just want to remark that while reviewing the replay I was impressed by the competitive driving going on in the Pro-Am division. There were some hard and clean battles going on. Both race incidents were unfortunate but I am confident that as the Season continues and drivers become more familiar with each other things will continue to get better.

As always, thanks for your patience and for racing in this series.:gtpflag:

You tryin' to say I'm fat now? :sly:
Yes! lol

You are going to have your hands full at Monza. The other Pro-Am drivers are going to be right on you. I lost a ton of points but I also have no Ballast. I will be trying to dump you guys as fast as possible. Meanwhile, @GTP_Guido, Johnnyg, @racef88 and pie4july will be all over you. It's going to be fun as hell to watch! I have 1 word for you guys chasing DesertPenguin - PRACTICE! He is difficult to pass.

Hope the ballast helps me at Monza. Man I was really happy with my top 5 at Interlagos and thought I started the season off well, but then I look at the points and realize all my fellow pro drivers beat me pretty much and I'm actually just outside of dead last. I'm glad we have some twisty tracks for a stretch after Monza.
TBH, @Timlour and @R1600Turbo will be strong all Season. I think you @Moby45 and @Mopowr will be chasing down LilChickenNugget most of the time. He was impressive at Interlagos!

Haha you give me too much credit. Unless they change the Supra's power on GTS's BOP to where it isn't so nerf'd I wont be chasing anybody down on tracks with any straightaways. Lol Aside from maybe Spa as long as I suck up in the draft.

I say this because I ran a few other cars in a private server on interlagos just to see what I was dealing with and to see how to get the best out of the Supra. With the Aston I was able to be as close as .5xx and as far as 1.xxx average to both Timlour and Turbo where as with the supra I was 2 seconds behind at best. The Viper I was within the 1 second range. The Porsche I could only get within a second at best but probably could have eek'd out a little more. The Jaguar once I got a handle on its understeer I was able to get .7xx witih their times and man that Jag is pretty fast on straights. Look out at Monza.

All of that said, I only did those cars at Interlagos just to see if it was just me driving like crap or if the BOP does suck the Supra down a little bit. I was able to run faster times in the GT86 which was odd. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of this is written for almost no reason. I like the Supra and that is why I chose to run it, plus I made a cool livery. So it doesn't actually bother me at all. I think the car will do well at the twisty tracks. I am still having fun regardless.

I think you will get quicker once you adjust to the Supra. Remember, it's a totally different layout. Also, if PD adjust the BoP for these cars in an update we will apply those changes in the series. You better hope for a bump with the update.

Yes, I hope PD realizes their mistake. LMAO

I have known and raced against the beefy taco for a while so I am not surprised by his speed at all. If anything, he is going to get faster and start putting pressure on the top 2 as the season progresses. Mopower is just too fast in that dang mustang. I am racing moby and ace and just trying to keep the pro am's behind me this season.

Same boat as moby with the car selection. The mclaren isn't the fastest car out there but I enjoy it and I love the livery I created. Honestly, even if I was in a mustang or aston I still am not fast enough for the front guys unless they all take each other out or something.

Yeah, it's like 720p, which isn't terrible. Anyway the second person is literally there just for commentary. It's not like they'll be controlling anything.

I had thought about joining him too but knew that it was not good on video quality. Shareplay is no better, there is about a 10 second delay for the other person.

I've done shareplay quite a few time now and I've never had a 10 second delay, might need to check some of those settings.

Same with some YouTube videos I've seen of someone playing and another shareplaying along. He was responding immediately to the things I was seeing on screen

I have always been the one "watching" on the shareplay and when I would say something to my friend I could hear the delay through his mic. So I am not sure if it is on my end or his.

Well if you think about it a commentary delay could be very similar to the guys in the pits talking to the guys in the booth. There is delay in real life communications too.

The SIMLAB/Thrustmaster sponsored BMW M4 car of the Gentleman Race Team has been spied testing at Monza. No doubt motivated by their terrible start to Season 3 of the IRS GT4 Championship.

That would be between the pit people and the booth ppl. Lol. Not between the 2 people in the booth. That would he a funny convo though wouldn't it? Hahaha

Communications are not that delayed anymore on tv coverage since most of the tracks have their own towers and such. It was pretty instantaneous when I was at CotA.

Well guys. I've been at it again - thinking about ways to make the Championship more interesting..

I will be adding a small wrinkle to the Endurance Races.

The Pro and Pro-Am driver leading an endurance race at the 30 minute mark and 60 minute mark will get 1 bonus point. This would be in addition to the usual points structure but only during endurance events.
