Well that one was meh. Seeing Tim's speed in qualifying I made what I thought was my best run and then parked it. Not a fan of long qualifying sessions. I think most people can find the lap they want long before then. Start of the race I just spent the first stint trying to save tires and not let Tim get too far away. I think he wasn't really pushing though. I was losing a lot of time on the uphill left hander where you transition from the Indy Circuit to the GP Circuit. Car just wouldn't turn. It was much better in dirty air to be honest. In front or way behind it was just understeer for days. Tried to put up a fight at the end but there was no way I was going to end up in front so just let Tim go back by me and tried to settle in. Unfortunately I put a wheel off while braking in everyone's favorite corner and found the gravel trap. Once I got out I just cruised to the finish.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to be glad this one is over.

Edit: Sorry for no party chat tonight, didn't even feel like using my headphones.

I really enjoi that track every time I race at it even when I don't do good. It is a very challenging track to be quick on but not just that, it challenges you consistency. Which I lacked tonight at first.

@R1600Turbo I think you are right with the dirty air and car handling better. The Supra handled great tonight but I noticed that once I got behind Whitey it handled even better.

Tough race tonight. Still had a good time. Ended up in a better position than what my lap 3 would have suggested.

@Clean Racer laps 33 to 35 there was one hell of a race for 3rd place. Just letting you know. Also, thanks for hosting the series and keeping it going man.

I've honestly thought about that once  Project Cars works better for that which is kinda cool actually
I've done it in my Miata series in the past.

Edit: Or are we doing this already? ;)

Driver's Points, Ballast Tracker and Manufacturer Standings have all updated Spreadsheets. Please check my work.

The Ballast Allotments list will be updated tomorrow morning. I have to get into the game to get the weights but the percentages are updated. Check my work.

Thanks guys for another great week of racing!

I'd like to practice for Red Bull Ring. Are we keeping it as is or are you changing it to rain? Can you please let us know so we can practice? Thanks.

There's the morning with rain, midday with rain, and late day with rain. They all handle differently and have different lighting.

Doesn't it feel nice when you come up with a livery design that can be applied to multiple cars? It makes liveries that much easier and quicker when you don't have to think about a new one each time.

Haha, I just watched the broadcast and at the beginning you talked about the initial fuel load mistake. I totally didn't even noticed you messed up and had it at 100% hahahaha

Me neither! I was laughing about it too

Sign ups close after the 2nd points race.

We are going in to race 5. Please keep an eye on the thread for Season 4.

I understand and read the rules. Was putting my name forward in case you had a need to fill out the grid come Monday.
  • Late entries will automatically be placed in the Pro category. No exceptions!
Not sure what “late” implies here since the line above says no exceptions to the 2nd race rule.

Let him race. There's room for him and it's another driver to fill out the grid. I can't find anything negative about that. Season 4 won't be until the end of March. That's a stupid long time to wait when there's a spot just sitting there waiting for you.

A "late" entry would be someone who joined for race 2, after having missed the first race.

I appreciate people's input, I do.

That being said, having drivers join in in the middle of the season with no ballast upsets the championship scenario that has been set up yo this point. It gets to the point that the whole thing becomes unrecognizable.
