Had some laps tonight. Mid 46's are doable, car feels solid. Whether or not that's competitive I guess we'll find out. ;)

And final livery after a few tweaks.

That was mentally draining on a Monday night. Couldn't seem to pull away from @Timlour at the start, we swapped the fast lap a couple times by minuscule amounts until it was time to pit. I was originally planning on pitting between lap 12-14, taking tires and fueling to the finish. But when I realized we had a full tank to start the race, decided to go to the end of lap 15. Wasn't going to take any fuel but decided to do so anyway and took a splash just to get the level above half a tank. Was surprised to see I gained some time in the pits, then just concentrated on trying to get the fast lap. Missed it by less than a tenth a couple times and then finally nailed a good lap for a 46.0xx. After that just settled in and brought her home while saving some fuel after using too much on the fast lap quest. Crossed the line with 1 lap of fuel remaining.

Really growing fond of this car, it's fairly balanced and has a lot of grip. And it isn't terrible to listen to for laps on end. Could listen to the overrun pops for days. :embarrassed:

Congrats on back to back victories!! You are so fast and consistent. I'm glad I made it tonight literally got home from dinner ran inside and fired it up and qualifying was starting. I'm gonna practice for nexts weeks race hopefully get up there and do some laps in the front with you guys. Congratulations again on I believe the first back to back victory of the season!!

Couldn't be more happy with that result from last night, definitely not what I was expecting. That SLS is absolutely fantastic in the rain and I believe it was very obvious last night. I was in unusual territory battling with @Timlour and @R1600Turbo. Really gives me an incentive to want to get better so I can do it more often. Not looking forward to the extra ballast, but I will definitely take it after a race like that.

I watched a bit of the replay and you guys were definitely having a good time. If all goes well, I am confirming my attendance for the remainder of the season with the Hyundai Genesis. I was thinking about joining up last night but with the rain I was hesitant to get in the way.

Clean Racer you've got Mondays on lock down. This is your baby  I look forward to everything you produce in the future

I was initially very upset that some drivers did not pit seeing how every race to this point had everyone stopping at least once.

However, it is not clearly stated in the rules. I will be adding that provision into the rules for the remainder if the season.

It was my mistake that lead to the issue in the first place. In my excitement I forgot to set initial fuel levels to 75 liters so everyone started with a full tank. I didn't want to restart the race because I realized it 2 laps in and assumed everyone would stop voluntarily or may not have enough fuel.

If I make that mistake again I will just restart the race.

Well done everyone on a clean race. I will have the Standings and all updated as soon as possible.

Thanks again guys.

I understand you being upset at the time. But just as you mentioned it is not stated in the rules to make a mandatory pit stop. I didn't pit last night, but it also wasn't out of disrespect for the series. If you want everybody to pit it must be stated in the rules, which you have now done and I am cool with that. Even at 75 liters I can set my cars lean level to 3 and still not have to pit during a race but I will be 1 full second slower than what I normally run.

Also, I didn't even realize you hadn't set the fuel load until about 5 or 6 laps in. I spent time trying to focus on staying clean and in front of AceboyManGuyDude. That was pretty damn tough and it didn't last long. Lol

WIth all the tracks we have run so far, I am regretting choosing the Porsche. It has no get up and stock gearing is not really good for slow corners :( 1st gear is too short and 2nd gear is too long. Besides that though, it has been a fun series so far. Still got a few good battles out of it. Keep up the good work man!

Driver's Standings, Manufacturer's Standings and Ballast Tracker are all updated (let me know if I made any mistakes). The Ballast Allotment list will be updated tomorrow morning or later tonight.

Thanks again for a great race at RBR in the wet. The driving was incredibly clean and I am impressed as always. The Broadcast Video is uploaded to YT and I will be posting it here soon.

Also, the Rules have been updated in the "Race Format" spoiler tab, it reads as follows (last bullet point addresses fuel issue):

Day - Monday Nights at 9:00pm EST
  • Practice: Practice Lobby opens at 8:30 pm EST
  • Qualifying: Qualifying starts at 9:00 pm EST - 20 minute session
  • Race: There will be a 5 minute break between Qualifying and the Race Start. All drivers must remain on track so times do not reset and the host can set the grid.
  • All races will be held in a Friends Only Lobby hosted by PSN ID = GentelmanRacing, unless otherwise specified.
  • Race starts will utilize a rolling start, however, lap 1 will be a FORMATION LAP. Vehicles are to maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front. Weaving for the purpose of tire warming is permitted only in sectors 1 and 2 of the circuit. It is strictly prohibited in the final sector. Upon nearing completion of the formation lap drivers will form up the grid by filing into two rows based on starting position. The driver in Pole position has the choice as to what side of the Circuit they want to occupy at the start. At the conclusion of the formation lap, the driver on Pole will start the race upon approaching start/finish.
  • Fuel Consumption setting at the start of the race will be at 75 liters - this is intended to force at least 1 pit stop during the race. In the event that the race host fails to set the fuel level to 75 liters drivers WILL be expected to make a stop at a point in the race to be determined by them. This shall be considered a mandatory rule.

Might fire up a room and do some lapping in a little bit if anyone is interested and isn't in a hurry to get some sleep or has tomorrow off like me. :D

Edit: Room open Edit: closed.
