IRS | Toyota 86 Racing Series | Mondays 9p EST | BIG FINALE TONIGHT: Dragon Trail - Seaside II

I can't tell from the pictures but is it matte yellow?

Yeah its Matt yellow/orange and Matt finish on all the decals but its a specialty Matt paint vs a yellow decal covering the whole car so the finish is more slightly matt than actual Matt is why its hard to tell. Doesnt really look Matt just doesnt look glossy AF

Im the guy who paints his car Matt no bling-a-ling until the hood pops then its "ohhh, how much boost" lol a lot lol how bad you wanna find out...

Hey man thanks for showing some interest in the other IRS events. Please make sure you read the first posts thoroughly as they are very detailed and it's a lot of information to take in. Let me know if you have any issues and I'll see you on track this Wednesday!

Sorry for the delay but I got scores up for Barcelona.

I'd like to test a few things in the off-week between seasons, but I really need some of you guys to participate to help provide information. For one, I'm planning on returning the damage model back down to Light. When we changed it we also added rolling starts and it looks like that helped to alleviate issues more than the heavy damage. Things will still happen, but heavy damage sometimes forced a pit stop which essentially takes you out of the main race. Light damage will still affect you for some time, and engine damage will drop you back but not nearly as much as a full pit stop. This is all in the name of our core value to have close racing on track at all times.

Secondly I would like to talk about the tire model. I'd like to try the car on Sport Medium tires to see how different they are from Sport Soft, and how they feel towards the end of a race. I'm starting to feel like SS tires are too much grip and drivers with a lower skill level aren't able to get nearly as much out of them as the faster drivers. This alone is creating a gap in our driver fields during races. It's about what you can do with what you have. Fast drivers will be able to get more out of any tire, but limit what that tire can do and it reigns them in a little bit. At least that's the idea that I would like to see tested on track. Post if you're interested in helping out and we can try to set up some more test sessions other than March 20th.

Hey guys, I'm interested in joining!

I just started playing GT Sport a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed the FIA races I did which got me interested in also doing a league like this.

My PSN is Maverickfftytwo and I'd like to take #52.

I think I'd like to sit this week out since I haven't had any time to prepare for tomorrow but next week I could likely join in or even wait for a fresh season if that would be better.

Welcome aboard! Let me know if you need help with setting anything up. Just post in here and I or someone will respond relatively quickly.

Thank you!

I've read through the first few posts and I think I've got the gist of everything. The main thing I have no idea about is actually joining lobbies and stuff, but I figure it can't be that hard. I'll look into all of that more when I get some more time on the PS4. I also have some work to do on my livery. I've got something basic started right now and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with it.

Joining the lobby is very easy. When you click Lobby on the top of the main menu you will get a new screen. On the left of that are all of the filters you can use to refine your search. The only one you're interested in is the one for Lobbies with Friends or whatever it's called. I'm not in game at the moment and I forget exactly, but there's only one. If the lobby doesn't show up you can search by track for the one we are on that night. The other option is to click the ID button at the top of that screen and input the ID # for the lobby. I post this when I post that when I post that the lobby is open.

If anybody gets a chance, I'd love to get an idea of the qual times from tonight. I'm pretty certain I'll be on the slow side but it would be nice to practice with this car a little and know just how far off I am.
