Is COTA going to be impossible?

@OdeFinn

I have noticed that you create very authentic tracks.

I agree with pretty all your suggestions.

Your standard is quite high, and i appreciate your work alot.

It is funny that you present thus Canadian track because i made it myself, and although we have about the same philosophy and standard in creation, for the same track and same map used, we took different approach for the same problem: see below my version of Mont Tremblant:

I believe the my version to be have minimized changes over the original tracks.

I will try yours later to see how it feels to drive it.

Check out my other tracks here:
This coming before testing yours, updating this after tested (based on own track feels):
Turn 8, last two apex corner before repositioned S/F, later apex kerbs on corner tells driver when he can "shoot out" from corner and stay flat out until braking next tighter right hander. How this works on your corner structure?
My track test car is RUF Yellow Bird on SM tires noABS. Setup shared on my "resources".
Calabogie was idea from some thread, as was this track also, when checked history etc of this track I saw how appreciated this track is. When finished my first layout, I fell in love this.. :)
Btw, I added that speed kill on turn 6, more technical is more technical :)

Yes i noticed you added that speed kill ;)
I was planning to do that too with another version of this track, but i want to try yours first to compare with mine, especially since mine has that kill speed moved to where the track is already changed, avoiding anymore changes to the track.

I respect your choices,as there are no wrong answers in this specific case.

I will reserve more judgement for after driving both a little more.

But i think for now we have two very nice.variations of the same track....

I trust you work @ode.

Edit: instead of shooting out from the right side,on mine you will have wait a little longer to shoot out from the left, and of course, less distance to pass, so that should make for some difficulty - added technical ;)

I confirm Turn 11 cannot be reproduced with a track width of 14 meters, but you can keep the racing line pretty much intact ;)

Please check out my work below.

Happy to prove you wrong. Pretty much to scale with a track width of 14 meters.
Please check out my work below.

Have you done your second one yet?
Please check out my work below ;)

Please check out my work below ;)

Yup....

but I believe my version of Yas Marina and COTA are much closer to the real track layout, scale, and total length...

I hope you all enjoy it. ;)

Sorry for the very late reply. I've been busy of the last few weeks. But, yeah I have done my second version. I re-uploaded it and got rid of the version in the video. :)
