Is DR too easy to increase?

A driver with 7 Pole Positions, 16 wins and 4,2% Sport Mode leading laps with 355 races under his belt has no place in DR A+ in my opinion.

Its not about wins it is about finishing position.

Sure, I know that. Then why does the game always drop me in lobbies where I'm expected to win and others can get DR gains with 10th place. It's just bad matchmaking

Well, then it is a good thing that I get a decrease in SR when other drivers punt me off or drive into my back at the start, insuring me that I can stay at SR 99.

DR is easier to increase at lower SR, the base 80 points for every player you finish ahead off counts more heavily than the deductions for DR difference. You need to be 40K higher than the other driver before you can't make points from them anymore. That's a huge skill difference.

Anyway, it's just a letter. For daily races a higher letter only means more severe penalties. There are no benefits.

Its easy to blame others, I dont know what to say other than maybe your unlucky but maintaining SR 99 isnt that difficult so long as you dont race in combos that are SR killers.

No, because the game has disconnected me from multiple wins and other good finishes, resulting in a loss of many DR points.

Well, it isn't your opinion that dictates a player's rank. He's clearly invested a lot of time into the game and if someone achieves their goal in 10 races by being Lightning or over several hundred slowly chipping away; who are you to judge them?
They'll either prove you wrong and continue to climb or it'll become increasingly difficult to maintain; either way I wouldn't worry about other people's stats so much.

I'm not saying the penalty system is perfect, far from it. Yet it is the same for everyone.
