No sir, it is going to be £449. That is the price given by microsoft and what retailers are listing it at. If you find it for less, there has probably been a mistake, if not....let me know and i'll buy it !Its uk pounds actually £429

Already sold out at Amazon; still available directly from MS.
A bigger internal hard drive would be a better idea !
Yea, basically they have us by the balls. Is it called captive audience or something? They've no need to reduce the price, because they have a monopoly on the legit controllers.
It's why motorway fuel is pricey. Generally speaking.
Anyways, I'd love an XB1X, but two things stop me - having to have two accounts, and that a trade-in on the PS4 is pretty cheap.
The question is, are they cheap now or were they really expensive back then?Ha i just tried an inflation calculator, for £429 from 1994, it says its over £800 in todays money..

I have a bigger gripe since that post though, and that's the price of PSN+ going up again. If you're going to put the price up then do it when the PS5 comes out. I don't agree with the price hike and if I don't want to open my wallet it means many of my purchases are useless to me without PSN+. Low ball move.

Back then when I bought the PS1 a few months after release, i was in my first full time job after school and earning £80 a week after tax ( around about that )
So what? I paid £169 for my PS1 in '97 Brand new from a dedicated games store with one game of my choice and two controllers. That was the price of the playstation back in 1994/95, if you didnt see my catalogue page about it...hehe... With inflation thats like the playstation coming out today at over £800.
