This is a good picture which shows it's even dark ( in that particular interior colour ) when the top is down.
Now the Stingray in those videos always has its dark cloth roof up and even more importantly, besides the fact the interior is small and has a dark colour, the design of the dashboard is styled in a way that the top of the dashboard is closer to the driver ( and beginning almost at windscreen level ) than the bottom of the dashboard, in short it's steeply raked or angled towards the driver ( which means the shadows are much more pronounced and bigger ) as opposed to those pictures of more modern dashboards.

And this was a styling decision made and was commonplace in a lot of GM cars of that period ( Opel also used this style in the sixties, seventies up until the early eighties ) and hasn't got anything to do with being a classic car in general as there are a lot of classic cars from that era and even before that were much more lighter and airy, and the shadows weren't as pronounced ( as recent footage of other classic car interiors in GT5 prove ).
This also hasn't got anything to do with the quality of the dashboard but the way it was designed, meaning the basic shape of the dash.

If you still aren't convinced and keep thinking this isn't up to Premium level ( hard to judge from YouTube videos by the way and I'm sure the Corvette interior actually is accurate and fully detailed but to the reasons mentioned above it's just darker ) or think it might actually be a Standard car then you just are in denial as they simply won't have any cockpitview.

I was just about to post a similar picture but with a black interior.

the reason you can't see anything in the stingray is because it has a beyond verticle dashbord and they is nothing to see!

Well lets do a recap here.

Kaz said that there was nothing in the pipes for a weather system at one point. THAT turned out to be untrue.

Just because he said it, doesn't mean that he won't change his mind, or didn't just lie to us.

This is OLD. At gamescom 2010 he said they won't have cockpit view and and that PD won't put gtpsp silhouettes (thank God!)...we posted it like 10 times in this thread...
