I've tried to break thru in a Subaru WRX once but couldn't do it, but my car only had like 400 hp. I think you need a lot more than this. Hey, this might be the only time you'll actually see buy an Escudo!

No you won't. I have done it various time in rally cars and an Alpine White Superbird (588 hp). (That is how I found how fast it can go--212 mph) And the other posts are right: there is not a dragstrip anywhere in the game. So make your own on a good straight stretch with a close buddy. End of problem.

Yes i know exactly what you're talking about. I have the same problem. My first 2 cars in my garage have 3000+hp!
Although when i try racing with them a red line goes across the screen and my car doesnt move. I sold these cars because they wouldnt move and then next thing i know the next two cars in my garage have the same exact problem.

So if youre having the same problem dont sell that car.

I have a glitch if you try the max speed test and beat it, all your cars will be gone in your garage, but that's why i race backwards

I can answer most of your questions...I have been playing GT2 since it's release on Christmas eve in the US

after approximatly 100 days, a game glitch remove's the car's data in those particular slots, and replaces it with the Track record data and user name...after this happens approximately five times, it cleans the garage out on you, except for the car your in.

remember GT2 was rushed to production, and mega botched.

also, there are THREE versions of GT2, PLUS the greatist hits version

put your disk in your comp...their should be a file folder labeled "FAULTY"

TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE WITHout the comp, check the Taurus SHO...only the 1.0 version of the game givves a race conversion...to a NASCAR body...this is copyrighted to hell, so they had to remove it.
