This site said they have it officially from PD.

“Yes it will have a track editor. You will be able to rebuild a track from scratch or edit the tracks that are already put in Gran Turismo 5.”

But it just seems too clean........... If you know what I mean.

Is this legit? Anyone know? Are they talking about music tracks or race tracks?

(PS, delete thread is this is old)

Honestly have no idea whether that is legit or not, but news of this scale you'd think would be posted on the gtplanet.com website itself....

This is already being discussed here:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=122024&page=3

And seeing as you were contributing to the discussion, I'm a bit miffed as to the need to start another thread with the same conversation.

I'd actually forgot about that thread due to it's title.

Maybe put the words "Track editor" in the title to make it clearer, as the current topic title has nothing to do with it's discussion at all.

Very hard to say really, we'll have to wait until we see confirmations from other websites. It would be a great feature if used online, and has been hinted by Amar212, but as always with PD and GT, NOTHING IS FOR SURE..

As the other answer that website got from PD: "...You will just have to wait and see.

The info was given at the digiexpo, therefore it does have to do with the discussion. Since anything coming out of that event is put into that thread, and you can't change the title for everything.
