Is your car in GT4?

My Dad's Acura RSX Type S is in. All I have to do is put some S3 tires on and get the sports suspension and I've got the exact same thing.

Your dad only drive the RSX on the track? That's cool if he does, but "S3" tires probably aren't street legal, and would require getting some heat in them to function their best, based on GT4's definition of "S" class tires. S3s are probably (1) compound softer than the tires used in the "Speed World Challenge".

As for me, no 20th Anniv. GTI nor Corrados in GT4. "👎 + (Gasface)".

Of course it is as the maker of the game owns not one but two. I have a highly modified 350Z track edition with the Nismo bodykit designed by Polyphony Digital.
This is the version St wheel option in the game with Nismo Z or R tune bodykit. My car however has a fully custom interior, stereo, and a top secret engine.
My daily drive to work is like playing GT4. will post pics soon

Please do post pics... :)

Heres mine after coming out of a long (engine blowing up due to too high boost) rebuild.... front grill and front bonnet vent about to be re-fitted.
Car is now modified in a GT4 esque way - has uprated suspension (camber adj, height adj, strengthened etc) larger turbo, head re-worked, ship change, larger intercooler, 3 inch system, uprated brakes, quickshift, racing clutch and lightened flywheel..... guess power is now at about 280/290bhp
Im still waiting for the white one to come up for sale in the used car lot (think its day 524?)

:embarrassed:  Great car!

I was upset that my last car an '00 Infiniti G20 was not in the game. You see early models but not this version of the Primera. Mine was a beast with a SR20-DET motor, big intercooler and a full stereo install with two 15" L7s and a 1200 watt amp

Nop. No 2004 Volks Golf Mk4 VR6 in GT4... :(

Would be great that the game gets it, and the 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 with the 3.1 V6 engine. Sounds too good with a exhaust kit.

EDIT: Mk4 and Mk2 (Like the body of the Mk2)

I disagree, the narrow angle of the VR6 doesnt make a particularly nice sound compared to other V6's. Its a good engine, but in a golf its far too nose heavy.

lol... Thats why i like the VR6... Cause it doesnt sounds like the other V6's. Its a particular sound that i like personally cause its really loud. Personally, the VR6 is placed in first pole on my Top 3 of the best engines sound :) Plus, thats one of the things that made me buy the car :)

I'll let you hear mine one of those dayz... Its the sound of the beast :)

each to their own... to me VW group cars are completely soul less (last good one was the 1.6 mark 1 Gti golf), the steering is devoid of feel and the cars are bland. The dilution of the experince is even worse when you consider that a golf gti is virtually identical (to drive) to a skoda/seat/tt - common engines may save money for the manufacturor but god theyre boring.......

Ever since my first renault 5 gordini turbo back in 84 Turbocharged cars are the norm for me.

My massaged 1.9L, 9:1 G60 Corrado begs to differ...while my 20th Ann. GTI supports everything you said.

there are a few exceptions to every rule.... ;)

the g60 is a great car, the 16v and vr6 corrado's are bad bad bad.....

the g40 polo should have been great but somehow it just wasnt compared to a gt turbo of the same time (which could actually go roun corners)

The current mark 5 gti is actually very good - its not fast but at least the handling is back where it belongs - ie with the inside wheel NOT on the floor ;p

As for the beetles - jesus, what POS they are!

I give props to the following vw's:
Golf Mark 1 1.6 gti - such a giggle and go-kart like
Golf Mark 2 16v big bumper model - one of the great handling hatches of its time- underpowered but fun
Corrdo G60 - excellent all round car, fantastic instant torque out of the corenrs - all set as long as you remember its a 2 seater (thoseback seats are a joke!)
Lupo gti - just makes you laugh out loud, the modern emobyment of the mark 1 golf gti (amazingly they arent that different in size or power...)
Mark 5 Golf Gti - nice car, cant wait for th etuners to give the chassis the power it deserves.

<apologies for the off topicness of this post :)>

No, sadly my car isn't in it :( . I have a Mazda 626 sport, the closest I can get to it is the Mazda6. My old car was in it, kind of. The uk Toyota MR2 GT T-Bar (miss that car  ) So, alway ensure I have a red MR2 in my GT garage. 👍

Nice!!! A debate on VW 👍 All Im going to say is, I like my car. Im not going to try and defend/ change someones mind. Its nice to hear other opinions though :)

Nope. Doesn't have a 2002 Berlina with all red interior S2000 or a 95 Integra GSR.

GT2 had thd the GSRs, don't know why GT4 doesn't.

They've almost got my Mum's car, a '97 Subaru Impreza wagon, but mum's is the non-turbo 2.0L model but has all the same bodywork (Spoiler, front fog lamps etc. but without the hood scoops) Shame it doesn't come in the same colour either. :(
(Mabey it's a special prize car colour? )

i have a 2004 Subaru Sti (silver). the one in the game looks alittle bit diff than mine (spoiler) and i dont know what does Spec C mean 💡

One of the cars I owned is kinda in the game. I owned a Renault 5 Turbo 2, it's not in the game but the Renault 5 Turbo, which is the first version, is. I don't think that the other car I owned that is worth mentioning is in the game. It was a Group A specs 1800 VW Golf II. Althought the Golf II might be in the game (I did not check).

Is that an S2000 club day or something is it, or just an S2000 parking lot?... :)
Club Meet.

My Acura has been to a few mainly because Acura is owned by Honda, therefore, a lot of Acuras are at Honda events.

Droptop, next time your at a S2000 meet and see a bunch of $90K Acura sports cars, just look for a modified black model from '93. :sly:

Yep. Both in fact (see sig).

The Corvette Stingray in the game is a 350 (FINALLY!) In GT2 it was a 427. Not to say that I don't love a thunderous 7 liter engine (I do *drools*) but I thought that modifying the 427 was a bit over the top. Modifying a 350 nets a far more controllable vehicle. I always buy my digital versions in Le Mans Blue.

I am building a 383 stroker for my Corvette Stingray with long term goals of putting a new LS1 (C5), LS6 (C5 ZO6), LS2 (C6), or LS7 (C6 ZO6) powerplant and a Tremec T56 transmission (0.50 6th gear) mated to 4.56:1 differential gears, and ZR-1 sized rubber (275/40/17 front 315/35/17 rear) She should haul pretty good in that trim. My suspension is built to "back breaking" specifications already. Uh oh! An early U.S. sports car that can go like hell & corner :D

My Rabbit is the U.S. built one; everywhere else it was called a Golf and got slightly different stats. I have the square headlight version and mine is Mars Red. I've already modified the majority of the suspension. She can corner over 1G of lateral grip and do the trademark "lift the inside rear wheel" that Rabbits are known for. With the chassis stiffened up so much, the only thing left to warp are the body panels.

My father-in-law has an AC Cobra in burgundy (nice!) and an Aston Martin DB7 in a wishy washy sky blue colour.

We've just got a poxy Ford Ka in silver!
