Yes and no. It's a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe, in game it's the Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX typeR STi Version VI '99. Painted mine black to match my real one.

Winter mode...

Sadly, my 1st gen (93-97) Altima is not in the game. Nor is the JDM version the Bluebird. Nor is the USDM motor KA24DE (which came stock on nearly all USDM 240's) which also comes stock in my Altima.

1st: They should have included a USDM spec 240sx which comes with a KA24DE.

2nd: A JDM 93 BLUEBIRD SSS would have been awesome. SR20DE-T with AWD, yeah!

Why I want a KA24DE in this game:

1: Obviously because I own one in real life (lol)
2: The KA24DE has more power and torque than the SR20DE and has a long stroke
3: The long stroke gives it an awesome sound! (Some sound like a WRX)
4: Every single 240sx in the game is JDM which come with a SR20DE, can't we have just one USDM KA24DE 240sx?

Anyways, the closest I've found to the KA24DE is an old FJ24 in an 83 240RS.

I drive an MG-TF 160 on an 03 plate. I was dissapointed that I couldn't find it anywhere and was convinced there were no MGs in the game. Then a few days ago I raced against one.

I can't actually find one though and am constantly searching the UCD for one.

Me: 2004 Ford Taurus 24vdohc 200 hp, AT, Black with a spoiler for extra speed.
GT5: 1998 SHO, 224 hp skin pinkish with the ugly elliptical body/trim.
I bought it at ucd and haven't driven it yet. Maybe I'll tune it and post it just to represent.

First car:

1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 - YES

You sold your GT??? Not good...I still have my 1993 (German EU Model) but it´s not in the game, since its a first generation and GT5 only has 2nd Gen GT´s.
There are just 300 of them left in Germany. Quite rare.

Wow, that's a really nice car you have there. So nice and clean, it looks like it just came from getting detailed for the photos!!

It sure is odd that you decided to drive all the way from Dallas, Texas to west of Cleveland, Ohio to take that photo of your car. I could have saved you a lot of trouble and let you use photos of mine, instead! Here, I'll post some more photos of "your" car from my photo gallery.

Oops, you couldn't use this one, as it show an Ohio license plate.

Apparently icelt doesn't have any car from GT5, so he decided to Google search for one he liked. Must not have known that most online galleries show owners where their images are linked.

I do agree my initial post might have been a little misleading, however if it was that was completely unintentional. I simply google'd something like "02 WRX Wagon" for an example of the car I owned. That was the first good shot of one in BP so I linked to it.

Sooo... yeah, FULL DISCLOSURE, the WRX Wagon photo I linked to is NOT that of the specific example that I personally own. However it is representative in year, manufacturer, model and style of the vehicle that I do own. Just so everyone is clear ;)

Also I do agree that for the age of the vehicle the paint on "Steve's" is in excellent shape. 👍

Nice wagon. Is that a Prodrive exhaust ? I used to have an '04 sedan with an old-school Prodrive exhaust and it looked similar to yours.

Not a problem. :) It was funny to run across my WRX here, though. You were not as bad as another photo linker. On a Philippine superbike forum, photos of my Vespa are linked in a for sale posting. I can't read the language, but I can tell that they list the wrong year and have about 1/4 of my actual mileage. Just another scammer trying to sell my scoot!

Nice mods. Are you in STX class or did some of those mods bump you out of it ? I used to run my WRX in STX. The Prodrive exhaust is one of the best. Not too loud, not too soft. Mine was still marked Scorpion (the maker of Prodrive mufflers).
If you need help translating that ad from the Philippines, pm it to me. :)

Yes, my Toyota Prius is on the game and I love it irl. Great handling and just 4 litres per 100 kilometres. Its a shame that in Finland we dont get any discount of these cars even they represents future of driving when we all got to give away of bensin cars and this polutioning of mother nature.

I own a ford escort cosworth lux and would love it to come to GT5.
It sits in a heated garage when not in use and next to my kids is the most precious thing I own, the wife is not allowed to drive it.She owns and audi A4 TDi.
Forza 3 teased about it coming in the community pack but we got the sierra cosworth instead.

I was is STX at the time I had all those mods (except note that I removed the manual boost controller during the season.) I haven't raced for a couple years now, though, and I know that there was a change involving placement of the cat. I'm not sure that I would still be STX if I go out this year. There are more photos from new to current as well as some details here.

And it isn't always clean! :D

Cool. Yeah, they did have a few rule changes not too long ago.
Thanks for sharing all your toys!
