Isaac Hayes Quits "South Park"

Thats brutal, I was actually looking forward to seeing that one again too, R. Kelly was great in it. The fact that they become whiney little children whenever someone makes fun of them, its a wonder that late night talk shows are still on the air.

I was actually going to go see this flick(as I only see about 3-5 movies in a whole year) but there is no way I'm going now if Tom Cruise is such a wimp that he can't stand up to the actual truth of his religion.

My God, imagine if George Lucas did something like that for all of hte episodes that rip on hebrews! They never would've made the prequels. Tom Cruise is officially the biggest wuss I've ever heard of.

But squirt him with a water gun and he will grab you by the arm and hold you while he lectures you on being immature.

Well, the new episodes begin next Wednesday, so I guess we will see.
I doubt they can respond this fast. after all, they were in NY this week for the Letterman show and a few others.

Matt and Trey pride themselves on how quickly they can respond to events going on in the world, they talk about it on one of the DVD commentaries, it only takes them about 2 days to make an episode, so I wouldn't be surprised if they responded to this by next Wednesday.

I've just learned that this particular South Park episode is "not allowed to be broadcast in the UK".

Astonishing.

What's with everyone being so damn touchy, it's like certain people getting their knikers in a twist when TopGear joke about American cars, South park jokes about almost everything it can do, at the end of the day it's meant to be funny that's the point. People don't watch South park to get a factual idea on how things are. If you can't take people having a laught at you, or something you do/believe it on a show like that then you deserve to be locked in a room in solitary confinement.

Who watched the premier tonight? I did, and it was hilarious! It seems like they just made an episode about chef and pasted in cut up audio pieces from the other episodes.

It just started, and now he's trying to get the children to have sex with him.

He just said, "I want to / make love / to your / rectum / children."
(It was obviously cut at all the /'s)

Its really funny.

Theyre basically saying... that "the super adventures club" (aka scientology) is making him say the stuff in the episode... but it's actually commentary on the real life story (0bviously)... and theyre saying that they hypnotize ppl to join.

Kyle "The reason chef is saying these things is because he's been brainwashed by this fruity little club."

I wont tell you how it ends.... They made it clear that theyll miss him, and that they dont agree that he turned his back on them... but they will always miss him and will always love him for everything he did for them... but they cursed the "fruity little club" that brainwashed him. I'd really like to use obscenity right now bc I'm really gonna miss chef... but I have to let it out as 🤬 you scientology. 🤬 you. :banghead:

Goodbye to the chef we used to know and love.:(

👍

It was a good episode but not up to their usual quality. I feel like they were trying too hard to make a serious point and it just hit a few dead moments.

I did enjoy the parodying of the "Trapped in the Closet" episode and the how they managed to not make fun of Hayes, but Scientology itself. Very classy (for South Park).

the media forgets to mention isaac is a practicing batist AND scientologist.
And? Actually, when I Googled "Isaac Hayes Baptist" I got 301,000 hits. What that has to do with him leaving the show over Scientology I don't know, considering he says he was born Baptist but has been a practicing Scientologist for 14 years.
