On common sense from me, i expect them to give us something new. I didnt buy GT6 and they are closing gt5 so i expect
in return a step up for us that have ps4 and were ok with gt5 ad last gt on old hardware and never asked for gt6 on ps3.

PD chose the PS3. They aren't obliged to bring a game out on PS4 because of this.

I've seen the split time bug but not any of the others. If they really do occur, they can't be very frequent, or their effect is subtle. The four last items aren't bugs.

And even though you may think so, I'm not trolling. I simply don't agree that GT6 is full of bugs, especially not to the degree where it has a serious effect on the game. My experience is that I've played for probably 5-10 hours every week for two months and I've seen a handful of bugs. The only one (!) that had a real effect on gameplay was the timed race finish bug that gave you an incorrect position. That's been fixed.

So stop accusing me for trolling and let's keep a proper discussion. Any case that's too fragile to stand through a proper discussion is too weak to begin with, so I don't know why so many around here are afraid of facing opposition. Instead of arguing for their cases they make up all kinds of lame excuses: "oh, I don't have the time / I have better things to do", "oh, only some people are qualified to see these things (and yet they effect everyone)", "this is a popular belief so it must be true", "trolling", "fanboy", etc.

Not in the race, but during practice random split times come up. Another to add is that the 1st place that comes beside the winner of the latest race usually is with the wrong person. Oh, and sometimes a person is not recorded or there is a blank block on the race results.
 
Horrible communication from PD. This will be my last purchase from them and I may never purchase a ps4 now.

If things are behind schedule, at least keep the community informed. Shutting everyone out is not acceptable in this day and age.

It seems we hear nothing, then an update is released, and the only details include a description of a new car or track. Oh really? And no other changes were made?

So now the community must spend countless hours reevaluating each and every bug, and let's not forget any new bugs that are likely to pop up. So it seems as if every new update brings nothing other than a new round of beta testing.

What we need NOW is a list of acknowledged bugs from PD, and a list of changes made in the future.

This is a great, albeit broken game that is doing nothing other than frustrating its users, fan base and CUSTOMERS and kaz better realize this quick or it may be the end of what was a monumental franchise.

Once PS4 marketing starts there will be no room for PS3 games other than if they are multiplatform.
As previous mentioned, to put in GT as a ps3 game at the same time PS4 is out is suicide in so many ways it is just not possible. All i can see as a scenario is GT6 will be delayed a year or two and untill then we get a new DLC and a PS4 compatible version through Gaikai.

We get it. You wanted a PS4 GT gane. That still has no bearing on what PD's actual release schedule will be.

I understand that but i still feel its the best solution and a good reason for them to explain why they release it at that point. And as someone quoted me, yes i always believed gt6 on ps3 was almost suicide...cant deny im totally wrong. And i cant understand why so many are looking for so much more when it was clear that the game peaked the ps3 's performance. Sure Ps3 is larger base but ps4 is growing fast and i am afraid that again trying to support 2 games will not be the best. But i would be happy to be wrong about PD and they manage to fix it all, support 2 games and all are happy. I just want to drive again.
 
I really feel we don't need threads like this every single time we get may get an update. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Wait until the entire world is past the date they said we would get the update, then complain.

Yes, i know and they are not obliged to do any updates either.
But i think they want more than this, Kaz must be eager to use ps4 hardware to do even better game. So i assume he wants to do this as soon as possible. He has hinted that GT7 is coming so for me it is now impossible to buy gt6. My ps4 is really just waiting for it :)

EDIT: People kept saying PD doesn't keep their promises. Well let me tell you. Kaz certainly didn't lie about wanting human drama. I mean come to GTP and you'll see it. :lol:
 
Was there an official statement indicating February for an update of any sort ?

I believe that guy in the interview said "you'll hear/see more in February" - that doesn't sound like an update to me. It may sound like an update if you spice it up with some imagination and add the chili despair sauce (:P) but it isn't a hard cold "yes there will be an update in February - features, cars, tracks and free french fries"

More like an update on their progress - maybe a longer trailer showing a bit more of the track. We may actually not get any updates in February whatsoever.

Are there some other statements/interviews I'm missing ?

I hope you guys are right about hearing something tomorrow *fingers crossed. I would prefer for PD to tackle some issues with the game, but honestly, I rather have anything. Tracks I think are more valuable than cars. We have a bunch of cars already; we just need a new place to play around with them.

Man, I'm feeling hyped already... This is the time when abusing my F5 key becomes... refreshing.

Predicting there will be a GT6 update in a day or two is like predicting there will be friday after thursday.
We were promised an update in February. Updates usually come on one day, tuesday(if I'm not mistaken). There is just one tuesday left in the month.
It's easy to deduce, if you trust PD to stick to their word, there will be an update tomorrow.

Judging by this thread, rage should reach 100% by about day 12-15.
It should also never fall under 75%.

Maybe that's what took them so long to bring it into the game =P

Sure hope it gets in tomorrow! Even though I have classes tomorrow...dammit. Oh well.

I wonder if the track pass thru the small town center :)

Cant wait for this track. Its the kind of track I think GT needs most: road a like tracks to enjoy our cars in a more open environment.

Can't wait.
