Not FM3 and 4. I've gotten all the cars I wanted an never had to do and event more than ONCE. Very not so in GT of recent.

Corvette and mercedes-bendz concept cars end on the 24th. (Probably update after that) So Feb 25th.

Just wish some people would have a bit of common sense. GT6 is closed on Feb 29th through the 31st. So complain then.

First, I never said that we need to only stick to praising the game. I myself am very unhappy with the state of the game, but you don't see me crying and complaining about it in every thread and every chance I get. Secondly, I'm pretty sure that that is what that thread is for, so we don't end up with countless threads of people crying about every little thing they are disappointed with about with the game.

The sad truth is that if it weren't for people voicing their complaints or concerns with the GT series, there would be half as much people here on GTP. PD makes sure that this doesn't happen though

Yep. And I hate giving Turn 10 credit for anything as IMO they have been steadily going backwards for years now. But, I never once had to repeat single player events over and over again just to obtain cars. In fact, in FM3 and 4 with the storefront I never really needed to play any career. Think I did something like 3 percent of the mind numbing boring FM4 career and have all the cars I ever wanted while giving away tons of credits in the process.

In fact, can't think of another racing game ever where I've been forced to grind other than the GT series.

It's a balancing act which will rarely satisfy everyone. Especially the naive.

they rushed & released a beta game with less option than gt5 , low quality
im not gonna open threads or impatiently wait for something good to happen , but i can see why the customer is unsatisfied
btw how was the other updates balanced when with each there was another bug that they had to fix with another update , be a fan but be fair .. dont close your eyes to both good & bad sides of the product.
OP is not seeing the good side & you are defending pd without recognizing the problems & unsatisfied customers , calling them naive

The problem is too much broken promises, if PD was like 'we release the game but then we don't give a flea's bottom about it'
NO ONE WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT GT6 (apart from bugs).
Sure it's still a good game but too much promises...February is not over yet but I'm hopeless, anyway, I don't want to throw more gas on the fire.

We aren't getting new content because the game sold 5 copies and they can't afford to waste time walking around unwanted tracks scanning them with a vending machine.

They sold enough and can't be bothered working on free DLC as it isn't profitable.

I implied that most of the other posts were meaningless in the fact that it was just a bunch of people crying and complaining which is accomplishing absolutely nothing atm. Well, maybe you're right, the tempo of the releases of VGT cars really is very slow and a bit demoralizing. But then, I want to believe that we will get all these awesome concepts someday. Like the Nike Concept - that looks mad!

Essentially we've had one in 3 months, excluding the other one with the wing on it which looks worse and doesn't work in being passed off as a new car

If I quoted GTracer98 and cited his post as being the first sign of good manners I've seen in this thread, what would that imply? Fair to say you would assume I meant everyone else was rude? I didn't say you called everyone an idiot, but saying that it was the first sign of intelligence does feel like you call everyone else unintelligent. GBO Possum's post was good, I agree, but certainly not the only intelligent one on this thread.

And I'm not trying to suit my needs, where did you get that from? I just don't want a war on GTP, even though it's happening in some threads already.

Could it be because i'm new to the series (and the forums), but since january i've seen seasonal events, free cars, 2 vision GT prototypes, 3 major updates and redbull events .
The lack of communication pisses me too, but from here to saying that the game is dead and the support is non-existent is, i think, simply nonsense.

Dissatisfaction itself doesn't indicate naiveté. So the answer to your question is "no".

And yes, to be constructive, grouping all the complaints in one place for Polyphony Digital just makes practical sense. Providing them with one repository ensures that they can even set up an automated system to download the criticisms. Scattering the complaints across many, many threads makes them harder to find. If you truly want them to be read by PD, then make their task easier by not hiding them. I'm assuming a constructive motive of course.

This is the power of the "Suggestions" sub-forums, where desires for Cars, Tracks and Features are placed in one repository, with a requirement to not bundle multiple requests in one thread. I contrast this with the Forza forums where they DO have a "things you'd like to see" sub-forum, but unlike @Jordan's one here, theirs is totally unstructured, and it would be very difficult for Turn 10 to extract usable data.

Before anyone naively suggests that the responsible people in Polyphony Digital don't read Jordan's special Suggestions buckets, let me say that I'm sure they do. Any Product Manager in a software company who willfully ignored such a treasure trove would find themselves given a free escort to the street.

The suggestion threads are indeed quite useful and i also hope they finally use our customer feedback, but on the years I spend here at GTP the issues people had gripes with all this time have not been addressed at all, which leads me to believe either they don't really care what is said here, or they just don't bother translating it in Japanese.

You can try to make this personal, like you always do when someone contradicts or corrects you, or you can listen to reason for once. You didn't say 'meaningful' you said 'intelligent'. The fact you didn't use the word 'idiot' is just semantics; the implication is clear, ergo I didn't make an assumption. I'm not taking anyone's side, just pointing out what's fact and my personal feelings are not relevant.

Or you should've thought out precisely what you were going to say in a way that it wouldn't hurt anyone. A recipe for a healthy discussion. Because I agree there's a tad too much complaining going on but you can't fail to see that PD is a bit slow with implementing GT6 feature updates.
