They seem happy to remove transgender people from a society
The Iraqi government are happy to remove transgender people from society. Jaguar just want to sell cars to Iraqi people.

I don't get why people always try and make such a big deal of this kind of thing. The problem is the country, not the manufacturer.

I don't necessarily like the advert, but I don't mind the new logo/branding. And the bottom line is it's doing a good job of getting people to talk about the brand. Plus we haven't even seen the new car yet, it could be really good.

From the teaser it looks interesting...

Might end up looking like a 300C, but it's infinitely better than the I-Pace, even if they leave the camo on.

True, so they just need to make a lightweight MX5 like sports car for me to be interested.
I am now aware they are reinvented.

Hmm ok, but maybe thats not how politics or diplomacy works or sentiments of the public. Think of Ukraine, many governments including ours have banned companies from buying/selling products with Russia. We have chosen a side due to our values. It's not just authorites, citizens are taking matters into their own hands and media helps spread the information about what brands say Unilever or Pepsi are dealing with Russia. In turn there are supermarket boycotts, umm what else, I recall boats in ports were refused docking by the public as suspected of being russian or russian goods even though it was legal trade. We do actualy hold manufacturers to account in other cultures and soverign nations.
When we have a problem with a country now intead of bombing them or invading them like we once did with Iraq. Now we need to make sure they dont get cars in British Racing Green,or New Barbie Pink.
Balancing act though yes?

I actually really like the car. There's some Lagonda Taraf vibes, but without that weird front-end and oddly long windscreen.

I think that'd be more in-line for Lotus, in which case I'd be down to see them try to revitalize the Elan - the exact car that inspired the Eunos Roadster. Either way, I honestly feel bad for anyone who's a fan of UK-based automakers not named Aston Martin or McLaren at the moment.
