Japanese retailer accidentally leaks GT5 release date?

Sounds logical, but I don't really believe in retailers dates. I'm just waiting for dates of official anouncements or stuff shown at shows to come.

..as we all are. But I found the Amazon UK reference quite curious. The product page still lists GT5 as undated - not published yet. It is only my pre-order info page that has been updated with shipping info. I guess this probably came from an automated stock database??

not likely mate, and the Chinese version sucks. Chinese GT5 prologue is still in spec II at the moment. I live in Hong Kong and don't even play the local version, instead I play the US version.

I believe the HK/JPN version will get released around march but I may not get it. I want an English version instead of Japanese so I can have a better understand about the customisation of your car etc.

For those reporting Amazon release dates, you might find it interesting that Amazon Japan doesn't even list GT5.

To add to the speculation and hype: the largest Dutch online retailer has just made GT5 available for pre-order (last week it wasn't there yet) and guess what, they also give March 26th 2010 as the date the game becomes available.

They are by no means the hallmark of reliable news, but i find it interesting that they would post speculation.

We shall see... keeping fingers crossed for a world wide release. Waiting till the summer for the NA version would be awful

I don't think they will bring the release forward, 31st of March is the official date for Japan. If it hasn't been officially announced, just assume 31st for Japan and later for US/PAL regions.

If it has been brought forward, and/or we get a simulataneous release its only better for us.

SHOPTO.COM still has the uk release as 25th June .They have usually been pretty good on dates in the past.
