Considering that it's got a tank engine, Masive massive torque really makes sense.

What does this have to do with adding ballast to a car that's already too freakin' heavy?

Las Vegas set-up only! Not Built for road courses!

TCS on a 41 year old car??? Limited-slip device, even though it's supposed to be driven at a track at which there are no turns??????

Bottom line: let's go back to school, TOURNIQUETFAN, and I mean that with the most honest sincerity. You've got kids, and I hate to see what sort of negligence they've endured while you've started thread after thread after thread, butchering the English language, disobeying rules on this silly website, getting facts wrong, etc. It's like you have this desire to prove yourself or something, but you're not ready for GTP.

America really needs to have some sort of parenting test, based upon one's intelligence. Fail the test, you don't get to be a parent! :odd: I'm being partially sarcastic, but also partially truthful. It's sad somebody is raising kids yet can't spell the word 'recommended' or 'doing' properly, and spends his entire day trying to start a virtual garage instead. :indiff:

Get back to school. Take a typing class. Take a computer class. Take an English class. Get your act together, man.

Censor the whole word or let the filter do its job - or better yet, don't type it at all. Homosexuality is not to be used in a perjorative fashion, ever. Do not drag me to one of your threads again.

:odd: I think that this post right here PROVES that you're just not ready to be part of a "Civilized" web forum like :gtplanet:.

While a post like that might fly on GameFAQS or 4Chan, Here we don't post to get peole's attention, nor do we try to make purile insults to faceless avatars from people half-way around the world: We come together and support this whole forum through our love of Gran Turismo and all of the games that this series has created over the years. Moreover, we have RULES & GUIDLINES that are actually enforced from time to time!

Now, most people on this site have TRIED to help you out, giving you advice on the forms and actual etiquette that comes from posting here. But nope! You just seemingly ignored them all and kept on flirting with getting banned with seemingly every post you made. :dunce::dunce:

My advice: Go get somebody to create a website for you where you can post your so-called "Set-Ups" and of all that other stuff that DOESN'T BELONG ON THIS SUB-FORUM.

With that, Administrators Please bring down the BANHAMMER on this guy. For all of us...Oh, and I hope PF hasen't bought any more
popcorn! :lol::cheers::gtpflag:

With that, Administrators Please bring down the BANHAMMER on this guy.

And you can leave the moderating to us.

Have a problem with a post? Report it and go away. Report a post we've already seen and dealt with? Then you had better enjoy having our undivided attention too.

Okay from now on, it will be all about the tunes! That is why I started this new one anyway, to focus on that only!

As far as my car style goes, like I said in the latter they are not for everyone.

I am still workiing on my grammar, and spelling.

If it's a drag setup Parnelli then yes, TCS is needed and I would do the same, so put the axe down and stop hacking into him bro. ;) Yes, we know his spelling isn't flash at all but Famine is on the case as we can plainly see. 👍

To the others, keep the dogs on a leash because we don't need any of us copping any silly infractions for comments. ;) Not saying I'm an angel either because of my earlier quotes but I'm not telling him that he doesn't belong on here either so let's help the man rather than demean the man.

I just wanted to say good luck, and keep your nose clean!... Everybody is hear to help you, and shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt!.... This is a great fourm here and should be proud of the fact that your here!

Other than that you have joined a very good group of tuners...

See the way I thought the LSD worked was by adjusting the drive wheel,
that has lost traction,(deaccelarate)side, and etc.

Thank you Shoman.

I am working on more soon, so stay tuned!

See the way I thought the LSD worked was by adjusting the drive wheel,
that has lost traction,(deaccelarate)side, and etc.

Here's how it works and I'm using RWD's (MR, RR & FR) & AWD's as examples here:

Initial - The amount of power transfer at launch to both wheels, the higher the number, the harder the power gets put down, this can cause immense wheelspin if not set right. Too low and it takes it's time to put the power down, too much and it lights up tyres.

Acceleration - The amount of adjustment during cornering while accelerating. If you are turning while accelerating, the higher the level, the more driving force pushing the car straighter. Now this can be good on smoother courses like Motegi Speedway or Test Course, but on tight twisty circuits, it will cause you to understeer. The opposite applies when it's not set hard enough, as the car will want to break away and oversteer as it's not set up high enough.

Deceleration - The amount of adjustment during cornering while decelerating. Same thing as the acceleration but this is on the braking side, the higher the number, the straighter the car will be and harder to adjust while slowing down, but if it's too low then it will cause the rear end to step out and snap-oversteer (this is very prevalent in the Proto Spirra), causing you to 180 or 360.

Mind you, these things are secondary to how the suspension is setup, if you don't have that set properly, no amount of LSD tuning will help you torniquetfan.

Hope this helps.

So therefore it has no effect on turns, except the intial torque. As in Vegas.

As far as Parnelli, and Kemikakadet's question's and comment's about my cars drive them yourselves! Then comment!

I loved Parnelli's comment about my "Mopar Roadster" in the last thread. That is what I am Looking for.

No, that's not what I said.....read the comment again dude, it's SECONDARY, meaning it does have an effect and a major effect in some cars but the suspension is the main thing to get right first and foremost, and the LSD can be adjusted for that suspension setting.

Why thank,:) you! Have a nice day Parnelli.

And I thank Famine and kingofweasles for quoting your original post, so everyone can see your true colors. All I did was offer you some advice (go back to school, etc) and you call me queer? :odd:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/gentopic.php?board=561066

Please humor us and go start a garage at the above website. Check it out (in case you didn't before). You can write in txtspk. You can double-post. You can TRIPLE-post!! You can start duplicate threads! Spelling?? Schmelling! Who needs grammar??

Do an experiment, if you would. Start a garage on that board. I'm betting you can totally "be yourself" and nobody will even notice the difference! I mean, I'm just curious if anybody will give you any 🤬 at all like we have! It would lessen the stress that's no-doubt being compounded in your life at the moment.

I am still workiing working on my grammar, and spelling.

...perfect example.

If you were from China or Spain or Budapest, and English wasn't your first language, we could excuse your foibles. But the fact that you're from St. Louis, which is roughly 900 miles away (a 2-day drive) from me, means you're definately in America. People in America who can't spell the word 'working' (in my opinion) need to get off their duff, start a correspondence course or go to their nearest community college (or even a library!!), and get some education.

...For your kids' sake....not just ours. 💡

paddycars1, don't take this as an insult. If your first language was Irish, yes, I'd let you away with your, let's be honest, abysmal grammar. But because a tiny fraction of Irish people actually use Irish outside school, I doubt that English is a second language to you. If your caps lock and shift key were broken, yes, that would be an excuse too. Plus, your spelling, again with brutal honesty, is also rubbish, but that would most likely go under my grammar gripes. Maybe it's the grammar Nazi in me (very unlikely seeing as my favourite war movie is Inglourious Basterds which takes so many liberties with history) but I can't stand crap (no other word can emphasize this) grammar.

P.S. What are you on about when you mentioned "gamefaqs"?

It's not just you driftking, it has already been pointed out by members and moderators alike about paddycars1's spelling aswell.

Quite a few of us are absolutely pedantic when it comes to grammer (settle a bar bet for me please Famine, grammar or grammer??), spelling and punctuation, and most importantly it's part of the AUP to spell and write correctly as there are a huge percentage of people who use English as a second language as you kindly pointed out before who can't understand it if it's not written down properly. 👍 We can forgive the occasional spelling mistake, but when you make for example, 20 mistakes EACH POST like paddycars1 & torniquetfan have, then it gets really annoying, especially when English is supposed to be your first language!!

Whatever happened to using spell checking and reviewing before you post?? It used to happen so much in the old days!! :dopey:💡

Probably has something to do with the fact that so many websites don't give a darn about trying to type intelligently. People come to GTP after visiting YouTube or gamefaqs or dozens of other sites where nobody criticized them for their lack of intelligence, why should GTP be any different?

In effect, why should anybody even bother to try to appear like they've got a brain, when 90% of folks on the Internet are just as dumb as they are? :odd:

To settle that 'bar bet', it's grammar, mafia_boy :D.

Haha, allow me to quote a part of a PM regarding that; I'm sure Mafs won't mind:

mafia_boy
PF
mafia_boy
Alright, you use that American version of it. :P
No mafs, I'll use the English version 'grammar' because I speak ****ing English. Find 'grammer' in the Macquarie (the Australian English dictionary), and you can have my first born son. He's a bit defective but **** he's cute.

Sadly, Mafs' response can't be quoted due to AUP issues.

Hmmmmm, didn't think I would be saying this but, most probably because it has nothing to do with paddycars or tourniquetfan, I like where this tangent is going :P
