Time for me to jump in and I'm not taking sides, but I AM drawing a line for members to cross if they want to get into this conversation and they can do so at their own risk.
Now, on one side, we have Parnelli Bone amongst some other members (I won't name you guys personally) being vocal about Torniquetfan's posting style, his spelling and grammar, amongst other things. Okay, I understand, sympathize and can totally relate to everything you guys have said previously but we've already spoken our pieces about it all, so at the moment let's just let it go and if the mods do something about it then so be it.
The other side is Torniquetfan, who is someone new who wanted to come onto here and make an impact in a good way, but ended up having it backfire by not realising what standards we expect when those members do join up, maybe by by-passing the T's & C's of joining GTPlanet, we do not know and will probably not know. However, he has decided to want to join the tuning ranks and has provided several cars for tuners to drive with and for that you can only commend his efforts so far, no matter whether it's for our driving style or not.
Now, this gets a little more difficult to explain and I'll put it from my personal experience so far. I totally agree with what Parnelli and the others have said about his posting style and while it is atrocious, it's not a cardinal sin as being made out....it is bad, and it may break AUP, but it's not up to us to decide whether he be burned at the stake or not, it's the mods and admins job, that's it. What we should do as members, is NOT to break this guy's balls because we bring ourselves down a level or two by doing so. Hence why I offered to help Torniquetfan because he does need assistance, be it through his typing or his tuning.
So, here's the line and cross it at your own risk people because I've said what needs to be said since I know what's going on from both sides.

Now, this bit is directly aimed at Torniquetfan. While I'm trying to help you, you need to follow advice a little better than you have been. When I ask you to private message me, it means to private message me, not to leave visitor messages all over the wall.

When I ask to send me what you've got, then SEND IT TO ME FIRST, not ask me 5 minutes later whether it's done or not when I don't even know what you have changed or tried to arrange in the first place. I get lost quicker than an idiot with no sense of direction & no compass when this happens.
I see the little changes that need to be made to make this a slick looking garage dude with each car's setup's itemised individually, so it makes it easier for you to be able to edit & arrange your original post in a more fashionable manner. If you just allow me to do it later on today (I'm going to bed, it's 4.30am Monday morning here!!) then I can set it up so it looks a hell of a lot better than it currently is and will make it 10 times easier for other members to search out your tunes and to be able to build and drive those cars at a moments notice. So, just listen to my advice dude, I'm really wanting to be on your side, but I can't be if what advice I do give isn't listened to or understood.
So, that's about it guys.......play nice, or
Famine and the other mods will get you when you least expect it.
Mafs!!
