Very nice guys.
What time is start going to be?
There will be no clash with your DTM's, Smiley.

The event will be on Saturday yes, but at 9am Mexican time and 4pm Swedish.
We purposely waited to post an event time in the thread because of this irritating daylight savings issue.
We needed to be sure it was correct.

Some additional information will be up shortly to explain a few things better and further.

Follow this link ---> #446 if you would like to participate in a practice session Tuesday. 👍

1. MannYhAvitZ - Green Z8 #16
2. JockeP22 - Orange Z8 #24 (in honor of my two grandfathers)
3. SmileyWRX - Green Z8 #13
4. thehobnob97 - Purple/Pink Z8 #69
5. WheelerTurner - Purple/Grape Z8 #44

Also, please enter a team name if you wish. It is optional, of course.

To erase at least some question marks, the race will be held at the 24h-layout
and just like the trailer reveals the track will be approaching dusk but not get
completely pitch black before the chequered flag.

Any questions about whatever subject please ask myself or Manny, @MannYhAvitZ 👍

I have been trying to open up the test room a little early and I've been at it for twenty minutes now.
I can't even go online with the PS3 because all I get is a message saying:
"Sony Computer Entertainment is performing maintenance."

Is this the same for everybody?

PSN started working and we were allowed to test the Z8's around the 24h layout.

During free practice I was the first to set a lap of 10:22.880 and later on got it down to 10:05.209.
New boy x_xALBY10 improved to 9:58.180 and then came SmileyWRX shattering all previous lap times by setting a 9:31.635.
In total I put 233 km worth of testing on the Z8 during the evening.

Later we did two 1-lap races and they looked something like this;

Sorry you were never able to stay in the room @Wayne Gratiot
I've got the day off tomorrow so maybe we could meet up on the Ring at some point during the day?
Would be nice. 👍

Unsurprisingly, I was last in the test with a 10:48.3. Damn that is so close to the target of 10:49 :P
[in-joke] :)👍
Another test room is opened, unscheduled this time.
Come join if you are willing and able;

I drove with a very fast Italian driver this time.

I also think I found the best setting for Saturday's race;

'In-game' track time for race start - 8:10pm
Time progression - 2

you know I would love to join but I'm afraid this event is clashing with the 500pp club 22 laps@ Monza.
Is this a championship event? I mean with points awarded?
If it is the case I guess I have to be part of it...

There will not be any regular Z8CC points awarded as this is a 'side-event' and also held at another time compared to the ordinary Z8 events.

You are not the first member who has inquired about the event time. This was the time that suited me and @MannYhAvitZ the best,
but I would be more than willing to set up a Race 2 a little later on into the Saturday. Say at 8pm GMT?
It would be run with the exact same settings as the first race.

Is there any interest in that?
I don't know if Manny is able to join that Race 2, though?

thanks gamer 👍

Scratch that, I remembered I will participate in Smiley's DTM series at 8pm GMT.

So how about 10pm GMT?

About the event tomorrow, I'll try and open the room ~1½ hours early just to be able to make sure everything works fine for everybody.
