Omg in other news I had a really bad day on GT5 yesterday.. Why is there so many arrogant jerks on Gran Turismo? I join a lobby with some girl being host, At Daytona Speedway, who seemed to do nothing but talk. Then 3 guys park their car near her in the road -_-.. So I join just to see if my new tune can still drift around Daytona's corners which it did! <3. But it had a bit of trans problem. ANYWAY, I join another lobby full of MLR/MLDs.. So they start drama because my entry message is "Skill over Mods/Hacks". It's preference meaning what I like. I'm not saying you're automatically garbage if you mod/hack cars.. So some guy "Boso and Seb" figure they'd be Hardcore pros and start causing problems. I have to keep telling people I'm not interested in pathetic online insults. I'm sorry but.. Guys on PSN are just.. Extremely lame when it comes to insults. They HAVE to have a friend to be there with them. They always need that friend to laugh at their lame jokes/insults.. It's the same thing everytime.. This goes on a bit too much.. It's pathetic when Team leaders can't even keep their team in line. They're only making their team look bad. Especially Dangerkid. Great example for the team.

Anyway. Back on topic. But far as Japanese drifters. My friend cropis is probably one of the best ones I have seen. Though I trust that his account is one of those fake Japanese accounts. Then next on my list is of course the pink twins Yumi. Chill and respectful and a great drifter.

Yep totally agree. I mean i have even warmed up to the hybrids (realistic ones that is of course). But yeah anyway i wouldn't worry about it too much about this drama. Leave it on GT5 you know.

As far as I know us at MLM/PinkTwinz do realistic swaps, and I admit every now n then we do make a ridiculous one just for kicks but we do not bring it to a serious light, and we're honest about it. And to furthermore bring this on topic, I wouldn't say we are the masters of drifting. There's tons of people around the world who've been inspired and determined enough to be as skilled as they are today, as for lobbies.. Well I'm not a picky girl, you could even catch me in beginner Tsukuba U.S lobbies at times
What's best about those is, nobody talks to you and you can just drift for 40 laps on end, its really peaceful.

I got the idea after I saw this one guy (yeah he was Japanese) driving a 908 like crazy around the Nürburgring, drifting it and all. I think it was a tribute to Ridge Racer or something.

My thoughts on this, entirely subjective and wrong until proven right:

I think that it has a lot to do with experience - remember, they usually get the video games before we (speaking as a USA member) do, and I think it's similar in Europe as well.

Case in point - Mario Kart Wii is an example of them getting the game before we do. They're usually almost always better, from my online experiences that I have had, and of the scant few that I've seen on GT5's online... they'll give anyone a run for their money. Experience is the best conclusion I can draw from my limited information.

I don't have time for that miss don't insult my logic, I heard this from none other then my actual teammates. In my book that's all I needed. 2nd attempt to bring it back on topic: lately I find myself in cruise lobbies occasionally drifting it out, but when I do go to drift lobbies I usually hang out with the people I know, its hard finding a tandem partner sometimes.
As obvious as this sounds, its really the people who make the lobby. If you gather up a handful of the chillest people on GT5, you'll have a wonderful time no matter what it says on our flags, or server.

but the thing is, that entry message DOES look like you're treating people as garbage for using modded cars. I'm absolutely sure you didn't mean it that way, but other people don't think the same way as you do. You have to understand that. And yeah, the GT5 drift community is quite the drama stage.

In other words, You make american drifters look bad? Because you are the "Team Leader" of a group of drifters/Grippers on Gran Turismo 5. You think it's ok to talk garbage and join your buddies, to insult someone who isn't interested in ignorance. You lack the skills to manage your team better. You aren't even that good of a drifter to be honest. Thats why you're mostly parked and typing out insults. The best thing you and your team can say in defense is " ^ This " Pro. Grow up. By the way, I have no problem admitting my wrong. But I've not disrespected you in any way. I'm not certain with the he-said she-said, but it's really not that important. Everyone will have their side, and its highschool drama. And its certainly not for this thread (As the owner stated). I think we should bring it back on topic before this thread gets a lock.

Yeah I admit my entry comment could be misunderstood.. But honestly I really isn't. No one else has commented negatively. Some laughed and even asked to clarify. If the message could be wrong I'd add some Sugar and Rainbows to make it sound a bit more positive but the comment was changed to avoid further complication. But anyway thanks for being a good role model for MLD/MLR. I'll be sure to always see you as a Leader type.
