This weekends race conditions are

75% weather
30% surface water
2 changeability

Be warned guys 100% surface water results in lap times around 2.50 so it's gonna be a long one

yes we know now zach it will be a challenge. Whoever makes least mistakes wins. Best i could hit was a 2:47.7 100%surface water.

joe why don't i have any points on the overall table
Op click-able overall pts is updated but I'm still trying to size the bulletin jpeg version at the moment. 👍

Sorry guys, but i got accepted to another drift team. I won't be doing any racing for the time being but i will make my way back because the racing community is so much better than the drifitng one.

No worries man, hit us up if you find time.

Ran a 1:50.0 at monza with mediums and controller im a little rusty. These 300 cars so much about momentum.

Im gonna take a guess the arta won the pole last season at monza.

Not often I get to toot my horn, but I was the pole sitter & race winner at Monza driving the '08 Cusco Subaru! I still haven't revealed my secret'

None Qualifiers:
We actually had a problem at last weeks race that needs to be worked out so this is how we are going to fix none qualifier's. The room will be open 15 mins earlier to have a 10 min qualifying session for the late qualifiers. The drivers who qualified during the week will have priority to their grid positions regardless if in the knockout session a driver bests a already qualified drivers time. After the knockout session those late Q drivers will grid from behind the slowest already qualified driver to make up the grid for the main event.

2 changeability

What does this actually mean? Does the 2 changeability mean the conditions will pretty much stay the same for the whole race?

I don't know why we didn't put a vote on to see who wants what, going by the feedback of the people that made an effort to post, random was what people wanted to see.

And when you guys say a wet race was voted in on the pre season thread, are you sure it wasn't weather races voted in instead?

Edit - From what i can see in the OP, a wet race was never voted on. Only weather tracks were voted for. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I'd like to see the discussion or vote that took place on weather tracks specifically being 'wet' races.

I just found out im going on vacation again this weekend. Apologies to everyone but it looks like im gonna step down to part time, as I will already have missed two races, and know I will be missing 2 more.

I agree with flanked. I dont recall a wet race. I recall a weather change race but not one with a full downpour. It matters little to me either way.

There's a lot of pages to go thru so It's going to take me a short while. In the mean time you guys can take a quick poll to determine if there are more drivers who want various conditions vs full wet? 👍

I'll do some testing when I finish work to see what changeability works

Thanks Zach. 👍

My vote is let it freakin rain and soak the heck out of it lol.
All I want to see is raindrops and headlights. (From my rear view mirror) lol

Guys, make sure you sign up on the weekly race list. We want to know who is going to be here.
Thank you,
TnT

At 0 changeability the rain will not stop. At 2 theres the possibility for it to die down. We initially tried changeability 6 and it stopped raining after 15 min

Voting would have taken too long. Plus me and joe being the co-owners of the league can make decisions if we please lol. Pretty much everything has been voted on so it's not like we're dictating the league

I think the higher the changeability the rain will stop and start back , test it on 8 and 10 if you guys are still undecided .

we tried that it went from heavy rain to sun in 5min and never trained for 45 minutes after that

Maybe we should make the changeability totally random , have numbers 1 thru 10 in a hat and then choose 1 and thats what we race on .

Just a suggestion .

I just hope it isnt a quit fest .

i think my lap was a fluke.
however im gonna run a few sessions on Thursday and Friday we need to practice racing in the wet otherwise there will be a lot of contact

Come on Bazzer, don't bow out just because of a little rain. You should live here in Washington where it rains alot. lol

It's not just that, I'm in the process of designing my business website which is taking a lot of my free time up, plus I'm spending the bank holiday weekend at my girlfriends (so DS3 and 1 sec+ per lap slower). Also the fact that I voted to race weather tracks this season not full wet tracks.

If you add it all together it makes sense to pass on this one.

30% wet track for qualifying or what? The rest I don't care about. If its dry or wet or in between.

Qualifying conditions will be 30% surface water 75% weather and 2 changeability same as race conditions.
