Qualifying spreadsheet is up-to-date.

Will be interesting to see TNT's race as he is way out of position

he was faster but the weather caught him out

Exactly, so here I come. lol  :)
Wasn't sand bagging either lol. Lap 2 & 3 were going to be faster, but you have to keep your tires on the track lol.
We had to use the clean lap which was lap 1 lol

Just watched seth 2.28.896 on racing soft

First run ive seen and it didnt rain at all .

Told you the qualifying settings were weird. It's random, it seems to choose to stop raining and let the track dry once every 4 or 5 times. I'm betting on the changeability in the race to keep the rain away and I'll be able to go for a good bit on softs. If not, oh well.

im nearly finished the race over view but i will say we need like 10 + so i might do a highlight rel half way through after this as there not enough action

Updating sheets now

Wait so has Seth now qualed? If so who was the steward? Haha sorry to repeat myself but you need a steward to watch you qual man

JSTC GT400 (GT300) SEASON 2

Race Officials: JoeTruckV8 ; freshseth83 ; RodeRuner1967 ; ZachAK47 ; phil bell ; Bazzer ; Willfred_1 ; XxShaggyxX ; rosckolove

Qualifying:

[*]You can qualify at any time until 1 hours before the race begins.
[*] Qualifying ends in
[*] Notify any of the race officials on PSN or on here that you want to qualify.
[*]Success ballast is used during qualifying.
[*] The qualifying room must have the same settings as listed under "Room Regulations"
[*]The race official will check room settings and car settings.
[*] You will do a 4 lap "Grid Start" race and the fastest lap time in the first

I take this from the OP it clear states a race official must be notified. While yes that doesn't explicitly say a race official must watch that is what is meant by that statement. Joe can you please clean that up and say a "A Race official must WATCH the driver qualify, regardless of the qualifying drivers status"

It was T-n-T's room, he saw me change the specs and track before I started.

Yes but the entire 3 laps must be watch for corner cutting etc. So did he watch the laps or just the specs etc?

Ah man it shouldn't be this difficult. I'm adding your time to the sheet. Well done on pole.

Joe and I will be reviewing the qualifying process.

I think Skeng should be a Steward to be honest, he's should have more say and has been involved from the begining, unlike some of the people on that list.

That's a good point actually, why are there stewards that have barely raced with us, have they even raced with us?

We cant add any more stewards. Its already way too high for the number of drivers we have lol.

Joe, Seth, TNT, I, Phil, Yourself and Willfred are all active stewards

Shagg is pretty much there for an advisory role as must of us came from his series, alot of the rules are from his series too.

Roscko im not sure where he is. Maybe someone could remind me/us?

Question to Seth or whoever else knows, if you start the race on softs and it starts raining, how many laps will you get an advantage on before you need to change? Or will you need to pit too early to gain and will end up losing time because of the pit stop?

Softs hold out pretty well till like 45% water, not as grippy as the inters but still driveable. You could maybe hold out to 60% if you have extreme concentration and reflexes, but certainly wont be at the front by then

I'm betting on the weather change being at 1. With that the rain either stops or keeps going. I'm hoping it stops. If that's the case the softs will be fine because you're not going to use them up in the wet. If it keeps raining there's a couple of strategies to use. I'm not going to give away which one I'll use. I don't even know which one I'll use because the race could go either way with the weather.

i'm very active at the mo qualified almost half the grid in a 24hr period hows that for efficiency
there for i am nominating my self for steward of the season

Just so you dont get caught out here, race conditions are changeability 2 not 1.

Sorry if I misread that statement
