Joe the OP says RX7 is allowed everything, people are getting confused as stage 3 is banned.

Penalty process update:

Drivers have exactly 1 day to call for a penalty.
All penalties should be reported to myself.

I will then contact both drivers to give their side of the story. The drivers will have exactly 1 day to respond.
Stewards will have 48hr to respond to me with what they think should be done.

By the very latest this whole process will be completed by early hours thursday.

Sorry I had to leave so suddenly. My dad showed up to visit.
The Subaru is a slug now Joe. Drove RX7 without engine stage 3 and did pretty good in it. Was getting ready to try the Lexus when my dad showed up.

I'm at Willow Springs Raceway this weekend getting some karting in at the moment, I'll finish the op Sunday Night fellas!

I felt pretty good in the MR-S. Once I get the hang of it I know it'll be a great car. Consistency with my DS3 is the only thing I'm worried about. I had to leave earlier today. Looking at new apartments.

All tables updated for the first round with correct information.

I wont link them yet as I assume Joe is still to put them in the thread :)

Just finished the micro edits on the op fellas, plz check it out! Also I took action to the problem of drivers driving the '04 Amemiya Rx-7, and having Eng Mod 3. I will get the pp figure for Rx-7 with no eng mod 3 for car regulating come race day.

Joe, link in those 3 google docs we set up lol.

Also qualifying is now open. So start asking the stewards when they available, and try to avoid the end of week rush

Good work Joe.

Just a note on engine stage 3, you can't police it with pp as downforce changes can bypass the pp limit! All it needs is a quick check on the replay to see where the redline is sitting. Stewards can do a quick of the replay when looking at it.

Edit - you do need to adjust the penalties to show a suitable punishment if anybody tries to sneak past the regs.

Also i just noticed it says they can run stage 3 if they go up to 1180kg, is this temporary? They should have the correct car setup by the time the season opener comes around in 19 days? That's plenty of time to arrange it.

Anybody found violating the regulations with illegal upgrades will be excluded from the race results.

This may seem harsh, but the regulations will be checked in qualifying, and stewards will not allow somebody to qualify with illegal car upgrades. So you will have willingly changed/upgraded your car.

It does say in the OP "anybody found violating car regulations will be harshly penalised" btw. But what I just said is what will happen.

Also guys in the rx7, there is a marketplace section of this forum, by round 4 at the latest (when car choices are finalised) you must have a car without stage 3 engine upgrades. Having an increase in weight should be seen as temporary until you can find a stock rx7

Yes. I can qualify people during the week. I am on PST and usually on during the evening. You can send friend request to T-n-T-2000 or open an online lobby and post the room number.

I can qualify people Tuesday - Thursday and on Friday's between 3pm & 7pm.

That would work out great. I'll send fr and then we can set up a time. By the way, if your forum name means what I think, I had two 69 roadrunners and a 69 GTX. Sure wish I had them know. Thanks:)

I like the RoadRunner and I was born in 67.

I have a room open right now till 12am or so PST if there is anyone who wants to qualify.

Tokyo Update:
The dotted yellow line on pit exit can be crossed it hour receiving a penalty, only the crossing the solid yellow line will result in a penalty.

Also from feedback from Season 1, all qualifying should be done in a lounge not an online lobby. This is to reduce the risk of the driver being distracted by a random driver joining.
If you don't have any stewards on your friend list, I believe you can enter either mine or Joes lounges to meet each other, as all drivers should have me and Joe added as racing takes place in our lounges.

I'll be online tomorrow, doing some testing. If anyone wants to qualify I'll watch them if you can't find anyone else.

Long day at work & school yesterday, so Zach & drivers I will make those op adjustments late tonight after my hardcore p1 session goes down. I will be able to qualify drivers tonight, and early morning (US) late afternoon (GMT) tomorrow morning/day' 👍

note: my smartphone will be arriving wednesday pst so i will be able to catch up with treading with you guys more often after that date. now time to get back into racing mode!

Are you going to be around to do some practice lol.

Yup crack session going down tonight, my woman is just going to have to understand. Heads up I'm going to be starting as early as I can so I can work thru the whole night. I still got gtp at the end and take an hour easy!!! 👍

Joe could you state that the grid will be split 50/50 if more than 16 drivers show. Just to stop questions later. So for example 17 show, room A has 9, room B has 8

Also stewards please note what tyres the driver qualifies on please. I'll update the spreadsheet ASAP with a new column

Edit: lol soon enough the OP shouldn't need editing, just little bits nd bobs :P

Note to stewards:
The RX-7 natural redline is 8000rpm, any higher and a stage 3 engine upgrade has been installed
