I cant even break the 4.09's and Im doing all I can.
I wont be racing this week, driving alone at the back a lap down would be pointless and not enjoyable at all.

Phil your still in the points fight so I will pm you what you have to do to get into the 4'06's to 4'08's. And trust me its not drive the wheel off the car like your probably doing!

I agree, me too I started timing on 4:09 and then lap after lap and after a bit of tuning I reached 4:05. You have to be smooth on this track.

I have to say that I fear a little on this track that some cars have 20hp more than my Garaiya
Also I fear rain....

Pb on softs is a 4.05.5, and on meds a 4.07.1. Not bad for like only 6 timed laps lol

Trick is to drive the track not the car here, the style should be the same for every single car to get a good lap. Nice 1 brake 1 turn manoeuvres, no jabbing at the wheel (or is my case stick)

Don't know about anybody else but I'd like to know how you all do in the GT academy time trial that went up today. I set a 8.56.585

Were going to Nurburg for Jstc & Blancpain over the next. Wks so I will fancy over to the GT Academy and do a run to see where I place.

Gprilli I can hit 4'05's probably if I find a clean line thru the 1st and last sector. That's what I'm working on now. I also realized I needed some night sesson practice because I was crashing at night, but now I see the apexs better at night then in the day!

It's good fun. Took me ages to get a lap that counted, any bump just messed you up and you're off in that car. Think I was 525th in world when I completed it.

Night really shows who has practiced and who hasn't lol, as if you haven't then you'll spot the corner far too late and be off in the wall

The Season 3 discussion tread/JSTC GT500 4 round test series will be going up on Sunday following the close of our season 2. We will be running Shagg's specs since they are reg'ed already and will save us the time of re specing again. The JSTC GT500 test series will launch the following week after the 24hrs Nurburg round.

Its been a long time since GT500 days I forgot SkengD in the Calsonic. Ill be in the Xanavi Nismo most likely with TnT. After research I found out that the Yellow Hat is the fast GTR with the Calsonic 2nd, and the Xanavi in 3rd. I would use the Yellow Hat since I could use being in the best car but I can't get over that yellow scheme it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The Yellow Hat Supra came out way better imo. Anyways just like ICGTC days time to pull out the old Xanavi! 👍

Haha I have fond memories of my yellowhat, that and I cba putting the tune on another gtr lol.
The cars are as near as makes no difference equal tbh, yeah it's not perfect but what is?

Also with my local basketball team playing in yellow (as the away kit) I don't have an issue with it

I like the Yellowhat. The handling is mild but very precise, perfect enduro car.
First win with that car is big for me too,

The GTRs are easy to drive when you get it setup. Really rewarding. I like how the NSX feels though, and I have a new setup I think would be great on it.

I'm on 4.10/4.11 pace so we should be quite close.
And you can be sure you won't be the last.

Due to the lack of clear boundaries here, it's up to the steward qualifying you what is legal and what isn't

Think we got it handled. Unless everyone decided to qual Saturday like 2hr before race as normal...

We need to really change it up for tracks this next season. There are about 4 tracks I would not like to race at. We need different tracks. 👍
