It was an interesting race all the way. At the start I felt I got jumped before the line by a those behind me, but I was able to hold my own until the first chicane where I over-sped in. From there I was stuck in the pack and struggling, the draft pulling along the RX7 and Lexus I was battling. Was tough, after I went off the chicane on lap 1, I made sure to keep an eye on speed and adjust braking accordingly so I wouldnt get caught out by the draft.👍

Me and Tyler had some contact at Mulsanne corner because my MR-S was quicker in the middle of the corner when he slid, but was more of a racing incident. I had to do all the catching up again after that. Patience paid off though as I saw 2 cars fly off at the Playstation chicane later on. Lost big time though.

Later I got passed by a charging Gprili and stayed in his draft, but hesitated to pass back on draft as I knew he was faster. Me and Cam had a good battle after, constantly trading places. I tried to go on the outside of the Porsche curves which was not a good idea and inevitably me and Cam hit. Not his fault.

After Cam pitted I found myself just banging the laps in and trying to chase Tnt. I pitted on lap 10-11 as my rear tires were pretty bad and it suggested I take 15 liters. I took 19 to be safe. Apparently whatever I did fuel economy was superb, hopefully someone can explain to me how fuel use in GT5 works.

After the stops me Cam and Tnt battled again. Tnt passed me but went off in the sand at Indianapolis (good thing he has awd lol). He caught me again at Indianapolis after I went off and passed me at the Playstation chicane. I then spun over the kerb at the Playstation chicane after he passed.

After that being the idiot I am, I realized all this time I had forgotten to adjust the brake bias half-stint, no wonder my rear tires wore out so fast! Super scary rear locking without abs and the tires wore quick!

After the crash I adjusted it and slowly caught Tnt, who unfortunately ran out of gas along Mulsanne.

I then just sprinted to the line in 4th.

What a race.

Fantastic work Zach, this is another good addition to the series no doubt. I agree with all honors list. Btw Tyler had notified me right away about his track cutting in advance due to being bored. So Tyler we won't DQ you but we will add up all the places you cutted which I assume will add up to a last place finish. Of course in the case of a 2nd offence of the same matter would result in a DQ in the future of this series. I'm proud that you & allacato stuck it out to the end. There was a point where I felt like quitting too but didn't and ended up climbing from 12th to 7th.

I'm working on the op now so it should be up and running by the end of the Gmt day' 👍

Good race lastnight lads and congratz to the winner 👍, had some very good battles for the first 5-6 laps then lost the pack after being hit by tyler at the 1st chicane on the straight, no problem as crashes are all part of racing and he did slow down and let me repass him. after that I was left on my own for a few laps with no slipstream to race in , then joe caught me up during the pitstops and the battles were on again really good clean racing there joe for a few laps till my tyres fell off the cliff.

Probably my best highlight of the race was my move on you joe at the Porscher curves, around the outside somewhere between laps 12-18. that felt good to make that move stick, and it takes 2 good/fair racers to make that overtake work 👍 cheers joe.

Worse part of my race was the last 2-3 laps watching tyler close me down from cutting corners I absolutely hate corner cutters probably the worse thing you can do in racing imo , if you had got the chance to pass me tyler I would of put you in the wall or took you off track. no way was he coming past me from cheating

Anyway looking forward to the green hell, I should be able to get a better setup for the next race, cheers all

Yea Richy I would like to state that the move took 2 to pull off cleanly. At that stage in the race I knew when to push and yield and at that point I knew to yield so I did and then you also stuck the outside move so we where able to have at it again. I will like to declare you as my competition benchmark now. After 4 races now I believe I've just finished right behind you and look forward to being able to finish in front of you one of these races in the future! 👍

We have a lag policy now so everyone can enjoy racing without being bumped off

And we have a driving standards section just to clarify what are legal moves and what will result in penalties

Multiple people must say you lagging, and if you have 2 races with no lag you lose a strike

Plus if multiple stewards say you not lagging on race day then you can still race

We're trying everything we can to get the best lobby connection to minimise lag anyway.

No problem tyler, I know what its like when your running on your own at Le man, It can be very boring. its just I had to switch my attention to you for the last few laps instead of trying to catch up with joe, which caused me to start making a few mistakes and ultimately ended my race with joe.

what sort of connection are you using wired or wireless? I ask this question because I youse to have the same sort of issues as you when I youse to use wireless, but now ive moved my router into the same room as my PS3 and got a good Ethernet cable, my connection problems are long gone. and also I don't run any other computers (laptop/pc) when im on PSN, as that can cause issues as well.
