what sort of connection are you using wired or wireless? I ask this question because I youse to have the same sort of issues as you when I youse to use wireless, but now ive moved my router into the same room as my PS3 and got a good Ethernet cable, my connection problems are long gone. and also I don't run any other computers (laptop/pc) when im on PSN, as that can cause issues as well.
I power line network it got a quicker transfer rate but I can't move my router because of the design of my house and my mum runs a line to her office the cause is of the problem is the
A I'm 4 miles from the exchange
B the lines are old copper lines and we won't get fibre optic because download speec is 2 mb/s

You need to vlan your mom and throttle her to .5mb download when your racing lol.

Actually it's probably the upload speed that causes the state post to the race server to lag.

Just try whatever you can willfred, disconnect everything you can from your Internet on raceday, and connect to the lobby as early as possible to let your connection settle :)

You didn't lag every race, you got nothing to worry about, but we're just covering our backs here

We found in blancpain people couldn't join if I was in the lobby

Main reg difference car wise is that stage 3 engine mods are now banned on all chassis

Also qualifying update
Qualifying will be 1 lap only
The lap will not dsq if you run off track, but the steward may penalise you if they feel you gained during the off

So now No Engine 3 Mod :) I've to buy a new car :ouch: I trained up until today with the old car and specs on the Nurb 24h :(

Sorry mate, we're changing the gt300 regs and thought this spot race would be a good time to introduce them and develop them further

Anybody who would like a none stage 3 car just ask and ill send one over :)

To me it just seems like it brings the Cusco Subaru more into the picture. There are some hp cuts, but also the there were kg cuts made too so I'm sure the pack is still balanced together. I got to say looking at the specs now I might just run with the Cusco again if we do a GT300 series again.

~Quick News Brief on GT500 Mini Series:
After looking at Shagg's GT500 line up I felt that only GTR's and standards NSX's were not the way to go, so I'm creating a spin off of ICGTC's car list which involves all premium models GTR's, NSX's, Supra's, with the addition of the Standard Woodone Supra, Xanavi Nismo Z, and POSSIBLY the Honda HSV. I personally would add the HSV, but I have been notified that its a beast and hard to spec so we will see. There will be NO stealth models added to the grid at this time,..

Most cars have a top speed within 3mph of each other. Some are just stupidly slow though.

All cars are within 0.3 on Motegi and Fuji, and 0.5 on Monza and Suzuka.

The specs are provisional, they will most likely be changed in response to feedback, but the nordschliefe race is a very long track so unlikely that any changes will be made in response to this race

Is that the RX7 standard have the Engine stage 2 as stock? If yes, I'll go with this car. Actually I don't want to ruin my stock standards cars.

i recommend using only the 08 nsxs and the HSV there closer to being matched than some from 05 and earlier models

No engine upgrades should be installed. Cars should only have the turbo upgrades

Ill check that out tonight when I create the car list! 👍

We working the grid out right now where we using all premium models, but not the low lvl premium models like Epson NSX, & Eneos Lexus's for example. We're at 9 chassis for sure 3 Nissan GTR's, 3 Honda NSX's, 3 Toyota/Lexus. That puts the grid at 18 possible slots with the potential of still adding 3 hi lvl chassis such as the Xanavi Nismo Z, Autech Nismo, Honda HSV, for example of what I'm talking about is if there is a car outside of the primary 9 chassis grid that is not taken my unpopularity (ie razo silvia) then we can sub in a more popular car that drivers want more like the ones on reserve. This way we make a good attempt at full grid density! I and SkengD ran these reg's in ICGTC and the cars Erik used where all balanced well. I never heard a complaint from season 2 thru 4 about the premium models being unbalanced. Only problem is HSV wasn't available back then'

Race Distance - 12 Laps (312km)

Stealth NSX is the same model as the Epson NSX but 1100kg instead of 1150kg. In 2008 the NSX was hit with weight penalties because its Mid Engined. Some people don't think my theory is right, but I suspect the Epson is slow in game because it was the same irl thanks to its dunlop tires! The same can be said of the Advan Kondo GTR, which runs Yokohama tires and is in the same boat as the Epson. Those tire makers don't have the performance of the Bridgestone and Michelin tires. The Stealth NSX works well because its the latest NSX model (switched to the HSV in 2009) and is 50kg lighter than the Epson, even though it uses Dunlop tires it performs well because its PD's 'special' car. I don't think it has any advantage over any other premium NSX though.

I'm yet to run a timed lap yet lol so I have no idea how good a 8.36 is

it's alright i had 8.31 i was fast through the twisties but lost it on the straight but a difference of 5 seconds is nothing
12 laps thats nothing can't we have it at 16 laps and start earlier
i will be impressed if you can go faster than 8.22 as thats the fastest lap last weekend in the real race

I'll sign up. HSV please. The gt500 cars are a bit faster so it won't be such a full throttle snooze fest on the racing softs. Well not as bad. I hope we decide on racing hards.... Only ;)
