We need hp, don't listen to Seth... I was faster than the Lexus in the MR-S in the corners, but, WAY slower on the straights. Ask Sandwiches.

Ok so we do -10kg less & +10hp for the Mr-s. The lexus is taking a -10hp so that will be like you gaining 10hp on the Lexus's

I need to qual but I wanna test out the mr-s quickly first at its new specs. Should be 374hp and 1160kg right?

Race Incidents cont:

Mike Grove & Phil (Lap 17) Mike has a fender on Phil at the entrance of the 1st part of the chicane, but Mike over shoots so Phil goes for the re take on the outside of the 2nd part of the chicane. both cars go in to the final part of the chicane together and Mike knocks Phil on to the grass, but runs wide himself. This 1 is hard to judge for myself so I would need more stewards to over see this one If parties wanted more action to be taken place for this incident.

Phil (Lap 20) Phil dives underneath Seth for a pass at the hairpin, but gives position back. No penalty needed here.

Tyler & Flanked (Lap 20) Tyler was drafting up to Flanked for the pass at the chicane and drove out to the outside line and at the same time Flanked check up to block or apex his line, and Tyler ended up running into the back of him and sending him into the wall. This 1 is hard to judge for myself so I would need more stewards to over see this one If parties wanted more action to be taken place for this incident.

Mike & Tyler (Lap 22-23) Mike & Tyler get a little nudgey with each other, but remains just a racing incident.

FreshSeth & Phil (Lap 24) FreshSeth was putting serious pressure on Phil going into the hairpin. Phil takes the high line in but apex's down, and Seth went in tight but hit Phil from the back when he apex-ed down and knocked him off track. Seth waits for Phil to re enter the track so no drive thru, but Tyler gains 2 positions in the middle of it all so Seth well have to take a 5 sec penalty for Tylers gain on Phil's incident like Skeng situation.

If anybody wants to contest these incidents notify me by PM and we can have all the stewards have a look at the replay to make sure everything is on the up & up'

Since there is a lot of dive bombing going on in this series we should run racing softs for season 2. This will also help induce 2 pit stops per race.

Ok I feel like it was a step in the right direction for the mr-s but it still feels about .5 off but I like it nonetheless.

It's a great "feeling" car. It handles nicely. I don't want to be the fastest, nor do I care about winning/losing here. I just want a chance to run against the big names again. So, I'll take today's small victory, if the other MR-S drivers are happy. :)

The rest of the stewards I talked to agree its drive thru worthy. I give him plenty of room, he has a massive divebomb, overshoots the track while I take the racing line and I still get punted off and lose 2 spots. A safe re entry is the other drivers responsibility as well.

If the intent is to cancel dive bombing I think you guys should put tire wear to fast instead, I dislike racing Softs too grippy.

Surprising... I find that less diving happens with harder tires; the likelihood of over-shooting the track, and running out of track is much greater, and that alone serves as the greatest way to deter such behaviour.

In W.M.A. ITCC Season 1, we had a serious problem with it. Stewarding settled the problem, but it was too late. We lost a lot of interest.

However, for season 2, rather than racing softs, we're switching to racing hards; that way, braking late, and turning, together, have the negative impact of creating loss of grip; making the diving driver skid off, and into a wall. Serves them right. :sly:

Same here I just like to run competitive lap times, as long as I feel like I ran with little to no mistakes I really dont care what position I finish.

I won't be back for 2+ hours mate, out studying.
How is the car?

Much better with that update. Like you say the turn in is real strong.

Can't help but feel though it's anchored at the front but on worn tyres the rears going to be all over...

This plays into the strengths of the MR-S pretty well, actually. I like the tire wear on the MR-S. It barely notices tire wear. :sly:

Yeah, I feel that too, have to watch throttle position off the low speed stuff.

However still feels like itll go 3 laps with no wear all for me. Not sure about late stint though:P

Also just to recap if any stewards are online, please qualify Zach here :)

He bumps into me twice during the braking zone, after the first time he should of been on the brakes. It was an avoidable accident. Plus he made no attempt to slow down and wait.

By definition on the opening post 2 wheels must be kept on track at all times.

Joe qualified with a 1.24.879 but at one point only 1 wheel was on track.

No idea how the qualifying penalty system works.

Checking replay, seth and I thought it was good. We would have to assess a penalty or it would have to be a re do!

Tbh it doesn't deserve a penalty. Wasnt intentional, You were sideways running wide losing time...

I believe it cancels that lap out, but being one wheel? I think that's as marginal as a penalty/ no penalty can be,

If 3 wheels were off track then the lap is dirty and his other lap should be his time instead.
